wait - so no show that Crunchyroll is currently simulcasting will be continuing this spring? that's too bad. i'll have to find a replacement for Fairy Tale then. wonder which shows will return in Fall or Winter. then i'd know i should try to catch up on.

There are a few shows that CR is streaming now that aren't ending this season, so as long as they still have the license to do so I'd imagine they will... Those shows would be Naruto, Gintama, Reborn, Durarara, Yumeiro Patissiere, and Fairy Tail. ANN has 36 episodes listed for Fairy Tail but it will probably be 39-52 or so, maybe even become another Gintama/One Piece like series that never ends.

I'm kind of curious as to what they are going to pick up this season. There are 16 TV series this season that I am interested in seeing, of course not all of them are going to be picked up... I'll see them all some way or another >.>, but it's always fun to see, and nice to have as many shows to be able to watch through official means.

I would imagine shin koihime musou otome tairan will get picked up seeing as how they have the first 2 seasons. Most of the others look licenseable with a few exceptions that are maybe going to be a bit too obscure or even obscene for CR? *cough*kissxsis*cough*... how they are getting away with a TV show on that one I have no idea.

well, i assumed that any anime not listed in the "continuing series" section of the giant poster weren't being offered this spring. i was also assuming that any long-running series like Fairy Tail or Gintama were just taking a break this spring and would be back later.

related to what I was saying earlier, one thing is that i can't go on "binge" anime watching sprees on most days. i tend to lose interest after one episode and prefer to watch any one series at most once a day or once a week.

Well I figure the new Koi Hime is a given since CR has done the first two seasons already

For other things we actually have a pattern to reference. Sunday and Monday have had 2 shows running for multiple seasons now so those slots are likely to get filled. So look at the Air Dates

Working or Hime Chan will probably fill the Sunday slot being left vacant by Hanumaru
Bridge will probably get Chu-Bra's spot for Monday

I see that Koi Hime is slotted for Thursday so it might get Gintama's spot but I'm hoping Heroman slots in there.

Dai Maou sounds kind of interesting so I hope we get that one too.

I just watched the first episode of Shin Koihime Musou Otome Tairan on a different site. I'm curious as to why it isn't here on Crunchyroll yet.
Nor, have I yet to see the promised post of release dates here. I would imagine Fairy Tail is going to be an ongoing series, it's just too good to stop, plus the manga is still ongoing.
I'll say it again though.... I would love for Crunchyroll to pick up Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Bleach. If they did that, they would have my undivided attention.

Wow I guess I was a little off in my post... I didn't realize that ep 201 was the final one for Gintama... or rather at least taking a break for awhile... http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-03-29/gintama-director-shinji-takamatsu/it-not-over

@ChadKumada... According to ANN Fairy Tail is slotted to air during the Spring 2010 season found here http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10942&page=25 in the episode list for Fairy Tail... now whether CR has the license to air the Spring season or not, who knows... they've done the usual keep us waiting until the day the show airs to announce it.... which I guess can be fun. Also that giant poster is missing a number of continuing series like Naruto, Durarara, Yumeiro, etc.

There have been some pre-releases done already like for Working and KissxSis... but the first TV shows more or less start at the end of this week... should be fun to see what happens.

@bobaganoosh10... that was probably an earlier than normal release for that show... the first ep aired outside what would be the normal Thursday time slot on Friday 3/26, the next episode isn't slated to air until Thursday 4/8. The first episode of Working technically was released a month ago, but it's usually just web only pre-releases. CR would most likely announce this title in it's normal time slot with probably a double ep release on the 8th of April, or so I would assume.

So while I was looking up stuff for this didn't see the new post about series updates... they mentioned nothing about Fairy Tail going away so yay Fairy Tail!

Apparently, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao may not be shown here in crunchyroll.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-03-30/anime-network-to-simulcast-ichiban-ushiro-no-daimao

=> No Ichiban Ushiro outside U.S.

Yeah... I actually got an email from Anime Network about that about a week ago, but forgot to say anything, heh.

(yes, i'm a member both here and on Anime Network, so what)

So yeah... it seems like CR's starting to get some competition in the simulcasting dept... I've never heard of Anime Network doing a simulcast before ever. they've always just run old crap that's already on dvd.

Spring 2010 is upon us, and with every new season comes new anime simulcasts :D

We already have 50% of all currently-airing anime titles from Japan, but that's not enough! This week we'll start to announce and add new simulcast titles to the evergrowing Crunchyroll collection.

Many of them will be watchable starting early April. Stay tuned and visit Crunchyroll everyday next week for the latest announcements!

There are like 30 new shows starting this Spring, you guys appear to be anouncing 3 new titles. Where does this 50% number come from?

Well I just watched Kaicho was Maid Sama on another site so I dont think that is coming to Crunchyroll. And my other favorite starts on the 4th (Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan) but the next CR lineup is on the 5th. What a bummer not a fan of the new ones so far. Hope we get something more interesting.

I would agree. K-On! had a great short initial series it would be so nice if it can be licensed.
Also would be interested in the second Skip Beat.

So far it seems that nothing I was hoping for has come to Crunchyroll. I am a bit disappointed right now. I hope they get some good ones.
