True, but I thought I saw a news item that Funimation had elected not to release Big Windup (or any sports anime) on DVD. So the question will be whether they only stream it on their own site (and maybe Veoh and Hulu) or if they put it up everywhere.

Lol, House of Five Leaves is coming out on my birthday... hmmm. Sounds interesting enough, but the artwork isn't really appealing to me.
But I'll give it a try anyway.
I'm more looking forward to Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Senko no Night Raid (Haha. So asian.) and Mayoi Neko Overun. :D
I have to say though, Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, and Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou do also appeal to me with their cute/beautiful artwork. :3
Looking at all of these new animes, I find myself wishing time would go faster haha.
Unfortunately, the only anime I'll single out here with no intention of watching will be Kiss x Sis. ._. Incest? No thanks. :/ (Hopefully not offending any of the fans of incestuous anime.)

Funimation is not going to license the second season of Big Windup nor any sports anime due to poor sales. With that said, Funimation most likely will probably not stream sports anime because there is no point in wasting money and time for no future dvds releases.

Yay... more shows only users in the US will be able to watch. Can't even watch any of the winter shows yet.
Will we (people outside the US and some other countries) eventually get a satisfying answer when everyone gets to watch new shows? You should really speed up that process because there are rips and fansubs of those shows available the same time it'd be on CR. Wasn't that the point of the simulcasts? To avoid exactly that? I supported this site for a long time (means: paying for stuff I didn't get to see yet) but after more than one year (which is a long time for a website) I expect more equality.
CR will see me paying again when those (calculated?) 'problems' get solved.
(Btw. what's up with those competitions that require a Facebook-registration and these Apple crap apps? You should really concentrate on more important things.)

Why? There is no connection between the two. Neither animation staff nor Japanese publisher/distributor. Similar character design philosophy isn't relevant to licensing.
Also what's with people asking for shows that are 1) not Spring 2010 series or 2) OVAs? The former aren't relevant to this thread and the latter are exceptionally unlikely. Normally I'd say impossible but CR is getting the DVD bonus episodes for Durarara!! and Sora no Woto. Big OVAs like BRS are really another matter entirely though.
