So today Nintendo announced the new line of DS. Read the article, google yourself it or what ever its everywhere already.
So what are your thoughts on this new DS in 3D.

Interesting. 3D without the 3D Glasses! I am looking forward to seeing more information on this.

I can't wait to see what the handheld will look and play like at E3. I was having fun with the DS throughout the first 2-3 years, but been getting bored and haven't finished about 5 of the games that I currently own and don't know if I ever will. When this comes out, I might not get it right away, but I am hoping that it will reinvigorate the enjoyment of playing games in the palms of my hand, otherwise, I guess I'm about done with it all.

I just bought a DS Lite 6 months ago...dammit, Nintendo.

Bad move in my opinion by Nintendo....and it's not often they make a bad move.

Why would they annouce this when the DSi XL is fresh off the market here in the U.S.? The fact that this is even a successor to the DS should make every DS owner...me included...baffled and fustrated. With a new pokemon game being released later this year in japan (right?), and people looking to upgrade or get their very first DSi, this could not come at a worse time.

Nintendo better not do a repeat of the Virtual Boy. And if I'm Sony right now.....this is what they need to do:

After they're through with their hype of Playstation Move...which..I doubt will be a big seller....they need to annouce at E3 that they will be making a long awaited successor to the PSP. Wether it'll be called the PSP 2 or not, who knows. But it'll be much more powerful than the PSP, backwards compatible with PSP games, does all the things the PSPgo currently does, and have two small analog sticks!

Nintendo is lightyears ahead of Sony in handheld sales, and they know it. So I just think it's the smart move on their part to annouce a PSP successor at E3 since Nintendo is showing off their new 3D handheld there.

Boo! I demand that 3D technology just be ignored. Nintendo is doing great with the DS... SO STOP WITH THE GIMMICKS ALREADY NINTENDO!!! The Wii is beyond saving at this point, don't bury your best selling system! Just come out with more great games! No more new gimmicky systems!

I just bought a dsi and next years taxes I will buy a 3ds. I will wait for all the good games to come out and that is when i will buy one. I really want to play Kid Icarus.

My friend was at e3 and actually played the 3ds...he said it has legit 3d graphics...i'm willing to pay lots of money for that lol
