Since 1995, Pokemon has been going strong since then, although in the media and certain groups deem it dangerous, what are your personal feelings of the series as a whole?

Hmh... I was really into the games back when Pokemon first began in the US. Haven't played any of the series ever since the original Gold version on the GBC. Today, I still have nothing against it; in fact, I think it would be interesting to pick up one of the newer games and try it out once again... but I just don't have the time anymore. I remember how many hours I put into my old Pokemon save files. No way I can do that again.

I stopped watching the anime ages ago (even before the Gold/Silver side of the series began), but I still stick with Team Rocket as my favorite characters in the series; Jessie, James, and Meowth (that's right!). I could never get enough of their crazy antics.

So yeah... I hold no negative feelings against Pokemon at all. I still see it as a clever and fun video game series.

I like pokemon. It's just that it's very repetitive in the anime. Ash and friends meet a new pokemon, team rocket comes along, team rocket blasts off again, Ash and friends say good bye to pokemon, end of episode.

As for the games, I think it's fun. So far in my life I've played Pokemon Blue, Pearl, Diamond, and Soul Silver. It's just really fun to raise a little pokemon into a super strong (and also cool looking) pokemon. I try to experiment with my team, but I always end up having at least one Milotic, Dragonite, Arcanine, and Garchomp. xD It's a nice game to pass time.^^

I'd have to agree there. I honestly wish if they really did the anime like the game, I would enjoy watching it more. The game series is still going strong, just the only problem I really had was knowing a good place to level grind when you really need it.

Series was good when it began, but now its just so repetitive with only minor updates each time a game is released and the same old story line within each one. I would love to see a proper 3D version of pokemon though with a open world like the handheld games, but with better actions then the console versions.

Any Pokemon after Pokemon Crystal sucked. I felt like the Pokemon in Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, Pearl, Black, White, feel like rushed cash cows.

I really enjoyed the original games and anime. I remember having all 151 pokemon types, moves, etc memorized. And then I knew the names of the next hundred and after that I just fell off. I've picked up and played a couple of the newer games and they seem like solid rpgs but I just don't have the time to invest in it anymore to do what I consider beating one of those games. I stopped watching the anime after they switched characters and they left the Ash/Misty thing unfinished.

For me, Pokemon was a partial gateway into the anime realm; I used to collect cards & everything.
