i heard there was a new season after this. idk i dont know the manga but hopefully it will b better than the last. My Heart: Unlock!

o-O Anyways, overall, I was happy with it because at least something I wanted to happen happened. But they could at least work on the other couples a bit in the anime... *sigh* Guess we'll all have to wait for the manga chapters to come out now. -.-

Them ending it this episode really caught me be surprise I guess I was really excited to see the last arc of the Shugo Chara manga animated. An enjoyable series and I am glad that I watched it from the first episode to the last. Oh and thanks Crunchyroll, I wouldn't have even gave this anime a second thought it weren't for that badge contest!

Haha, I'm so slow... i didn't know it was the last ep os Shugo Chara til like this morning.

They should have worked on side couples for fillers but nevrmind that, we have Encore! Yay but we have to wait once a month for each ep and that's a long time in my world.

The anime may be over but I have a theory.

This basically validates the idea that the series should have ended with Doki. I personally liked Pucchi Puchi/this filler arc and don't care much for the manga's conclusion but there was really no point in making another series if they weren't going to follow through with the manga storyline.

Then again, there's not much room for an episodic series in that arc so maybe the series will return when Encore has put out enough material to justify it.

I really think that this was the last season.

i am quite sad that it ended this way...this has to be the most disappointing anime ending ever and i've seen plenty of disappointing anime endings...
Why was it disapointing? So many frikin cliff hangers!
1. Nagihiko/Nadeshiko thing
2. Hikaru's egg...
3. Ikuto finding his father
4. and of course....NO ONE ENDED UP TOGETHER
I'm pretty sure there are alot more and i just forgot them... in the end, the only thing i liked was i was able to see all the characters again(except nadeshiko...even though she doesnt really count lol)

I really think they should have ended it at Shugo Chara Doki, instead of leaving us here expecting their new middle school lives but never came thus disappointing us all I also thought a real plot was going to surface sometime but it never happenned I mean i sorta did like Rikka but i never considered her the main character and i never considered her situation to be the plot of Shugo Chara Party.

I kinda wish they would make a new season...i mean yea i know theres a manga but i dont think i'll read it...

Shugo chara is the first anime I ever watched.. It will always be my favorite. and I agree with aimzstar, we can always read fanfics too. So as a tribute to shugo chara: OPEN HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jrrutten, you're definitely onto something here. And I agree with you on this being a chance for the creators to spit a movie out.



After seeing this thread I just felt like I should take the liberty to explain some things on what could proceed from the ending. These are just opinions and experience I've gotten from learning how anything thats gotten to the point of being "mainstream" (If you will) has functioned in the past. Soo...please read with an open mind.

Now, the series itself isn't officially over (As everyone already knows of and is eagerly awaiting Encore) Only the anime seems to have ended, or in the least, come to a hault or possible hiatus. All 3 seasons were being aired in Japan around the same time everyone is able to watch them on here. This makes Japan and Crunchyroll basically the first stepping stones of deciding the future SC. Let me explain: However well percieved it is over the air or streamed on this site influences things such as, if/when it gets dubbed and distributed elsewhere, and if the creators decide to continue with it.

No one besides Peach-Pit knows if anything is gonna follow after SCE, but I can tell you what could possibly go down from the experience I've built up from watching how these things usually play out. When a series has gained a fanbase, more often than not they'll decide to push out a lot of stuff to act as filler (Like a spin-off series or a movie) as a means of stalling and buying time to work on new stuff as well as keeping the fans interested (Examples can be noted from some of the bigger franchises like Pokemon, Dragonball, and Gundam). Its really just a tactic used to decide where to go from the present point. If there is going to be another anime or manga, then "Party" and "Encore" were most likely the 1st steps taken to begin a diversion so the writers could have time to plan out something more permanent or long-term.

I myself have a feeling that this isn't the end. Cuz like a lot of people have already noticed, SC ended up leaving a few loose ends. And even though sometimes a series will just end like that, because SC is still kinda new, it seems like there are more options and possibilities left open to keep it going. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
