I wouldn't say my life was at stake, but yesterday i kinda "hurt" myself to protect my cat.

My brother and i were out walking my sisters dog, with my cat tagging along, she usually does that. When suddenly a dog without a leash comes our way. The dog proceeds to sniffing out our dog, but gets quickly bored of it when it notices the cat behind my back. The dog then walks over to my side and stares at our cat. Then the dog suddenly starts to run after my cat. Me, unknowingly if the dog would kill my cat or whatnot, starts yelling like all hell. I'm pretty sure i i've never yelled that high, and with so high murderous intent ever before. Sure, i love animals of all kinds, but no one messes with my cat. And when it comes to it, of course i'd choose to protect my own cat, in place of some strangers dog. Luckily my cat found a tree to climb onto, but i swear. Had that dog killed my cat, i would kill the dog with my own hands.

Good thing i didn't need to do that, since my yelling scared the shit out of that damned dog, it literary ran with the tail between it's legs back to it's owner. In return, my throat is as sore as sore can be.

I usually keep my cool about most things, but when someone/thing tries to hurt something i love, well. Let's just say "you wouldn't like me when i'm angry".

I would forfeit my life to save my sisters.

Given that I can do more while alive than I could while dead, I'd sacrifice my life (assuming death is the sacrifice) for nothing.

To put it in an honest manner, if my death could save the lies of 10,000 people, I'd choose to live, as based on my morals it's the correct option. Also, with the way I perceive society, those 10,000 people would have been useless anyway.

Anyone can die for someone, the strong can live for them. I don't know if I got that one right, or where it's from.. But I like it. :)

As the selfish person I am, it's probably going to depend on the time and place lol XD
But I'd make sure that my first priority are my family and close friends.

For my Mom, my wife, and my kids.
