na ...i wouldnt sacrifice my precious life for someone ..well you know that you only have 1 life so stop sacrificing and live without worrying about anyone. You take your responsibility and they take theirs, help them, care them , love them but why sacrifice, what if your life was worth more than his/hers ......as i ve said this it probably signifies that im selfish but if someone is in a greater pinch than me then i wouldnt hesitate to help him/her ..i would try to save both him/her and myself so that i could she what i ve achieved

While incredibly incredibly sweet and selfless, parents are there to protect their children.

If you care that much for your mothers, I can assure you, your mothers both care about you more than you are able to fathom, and neither of you would be right, because they would not allow it. I would knock my child's lights out before I would let them sacrifice their self for my sake.

Of course I would sacrifice myself for my son, 1000 times over. What the hell point would I ever have to live without him?

Now, on that note, I'm going to go and finish crying now because the thought is literally breaking my heart.

Oh the love for a son/daughter is incredible!

You are right in some aspects, but my mother already took care of myself and she sacrificed a lot of her life for her family. So, now that I'm older and stronger I can take care of her and give back all she did for me. I would not call it sacrifice per se, because where love is involved you don't mind the hardships as long as the person you care for is alright.
