Post Reply Vampire Infection
Posted 5/23/10
The last thing Lillian remembered was seeing Night slice the crazed mutant in half before everything went black. The young doctor was so tired and all she wanted was to sleep. And that’s what she was going to do before she felt a sting and all the lights were turned back on. Feeling groggy and in pain like no other, Lillian looked around to see what was going on. But her eyesight was hazy and she could only make out a single blur that was removing her shirt. Lillian opened her mouth to protest but nothing came out. It’s probably thanks to that mutant chocking her. Unable to communicate Lillian just let the blur do whatever it was doing.

Moments later Lillian felt the pain dulling and the blur in front of her became actual figure. One she wasn’t too happy to see. “You?! You undressed me you pervert and you’re the reason I was attacked!” Lillian tried to sit up so she could slap Night but instead she coughed up blood. “Did you send that mutant to kill me vampire?” She asked angrily.

Night looked at her and laughed, "I didn't want to undress you, but you needed something around your chest to support your ribs, otherwise the pain would be a lot more than what it Is now, which I had my eyes closed during anyway". He looked her up and down once she coughed blood and sighed. He got a towel and wiped it off her softly. "if I wanted you dead you would be and I would have done it myself by now, that vampire was mutant, which believed you were the one responsible for his state, which I can only wonder why". He walked to in front of her and kneed down to her level. "I need to be straight with you, I believe a rib has punctured one of your lungs, there is no other reason for you to be coughing up blood at the moment..... One of two things can happen. Either you trust me and allow me to do a quick operation on you, or I can make a solution containing a vampire strand, which would heal you, leave you human, but it will hurt like nothing you've felt before for a few minutes. It's your choice". He looked at her and stayed at her level to get her reply.

Lillian wanted to laugh but she knew what would happen if she did so. So instead she just stared blankly at Night. Did he honestly think she would agree to any of his terms? “Take me to a hospital right this instant. I don’t trust you to bring me a cup of coffee let alone operate on me. And as for getting the vampire strand near me, no thanks alright. Just take me to a hospital and let them take care of me.” Lillian coughed up more blood and hated the fact she was in this state. How did her day turn so sour in such a short amount of time? Gah she had the worst luck it seemed. “Just so you know vampire just because you saved me does not mean I’m going to help you with your cause. I meant what I said in my house.”

Night looked back I to her eyes from her blank stare, almost like he was gazing into her soul, "Your the doctor, work this out. The hospital is an hours run, for me, at top speed. Your lung is punctured and blood is entering he pu cture freely and making it's way up your airway. Do you really think I would have skipped the most logical way of solving this?". He stood and walked to the other side of the room to give her space to think. She could either choose one of his ways or choose the worse option of death. He only meant good, but he felt like the doctor shit this fact out from her judgement of past vampires. She had never seen what his kind went through and how his subject class was treated, otherwise she would have understood.

“In fact I do think you would skip the most logical choice in hopes I would go along with your cause.” Lillian would have said more but she had another coughing spell and even more blood came up. The doctor had to face reality; she was going to die if she didn’t get help soon. But why did it have to come from the vampire?! “I don’t trust you to operate on me and you’re not injecting me with any vampire strand so try I suggest you try and get me to the hospital as soon as possible. I’m aware how critical my situation is but…” Lillian coughed up even more blood but she was determined to finish her sentence. “But….” More blood came up and then she started choking. All this time arguing had allowed more blood to flow into her lungs and now she was choking to death. Lillian’s eyes widen as she realized she was dying. Any hope of an operation was now out of the question. She was going to die before getting the chance to help anyone.
