I find it surprising that the person who created the website (shinji) is the one who's inactive when it comes to community affairs, but I give credit to BK, since he dose try and I believe some things are unfairly dumped on him. As for the other Administrators, I don't see much of them, and can't really say whether they are doing their job or not, but they're not really convincing.

As for the other thing you pointed out, I agree that because of the chat being closed, users will make do with the forums; which means more unnecessary crap for the Forum Moderators. We should really watch out for Forum Games and General Discussion, since these two are the most obvious places they will try this.

People come here for anime and Drama, not chatrooms. People aren't going to sacrifice what they actually come here for over something trivial like an unpopular chat room. I agree, it's us who have the power of popularity. However, just like a workers strike, it only works if everyone is in on it.

Considering that I pay for premium membership for anime, and that's what I really come here for, they could ban chatrooms, forums, news updates, just about anything that isn't anime, and I'd still keep coming, and I'd still keep paying.


You're actually quite wrong there, my good man. People don't come here solely for drama and anime. If you looked at the % of people who have actually got any kind of membership, you'd know this.

You've not been here for that long, so I understand your viewpoint. You're part of the % of people who are here purely for the media, rather than the community. You probably didn't know this, but CR started out as a community based website, not a legitimate media website. Alot of people come here for the community aspects like the forums, groups, profiles, and until lately the chats.

Of course people are going to be angry when aspects of the community they like are just swept under the rug. And of course 'you don't care', because you don't use them. Just like I wouldn't care if they removed any of the media you watched on here, because I don't watch it. Would I still think it's fair if they did it? No.

I don't really expect you to understand though, you weren't here until recently.

When i first started this site like 2? years ago the site was all bout the community and i dont think they even had this premium user mess..the site was completely free and the USERS would post up the anime and dramas. Back then ALOT of people would come for that as well as the chatrooms..I use to do chatrooms back then and was gonna start up again today but i -just- found out they were gone..bunch of bull to me. They probably lost like a good number of users because of this. I'm only still here cause of my buds. But I will be gone once i get out a highschool so they gonna lose another user! Woohoo!
