I enjoyed the first episode and I think this is an anime worth watching. However I do have bones to pick. First the art is way too similar to Eureka 7 and Fooley Cooley and I feel like BONES was being lazy when it came to original and unique artwork. And why is Stan Lee's influence and style so muted, where as the anime feel is over-developed and too dominant, like I thought it was Stan Lee who created it. I thought this was going to be a fusion between american comics and japanese anime, not a japanese anime poorly trying to imitate an american comic. Atleast thats the feel I get.

What? You do know this takes place in America, right?

Doesn't have to be Joey joe or whatever though
could just use a normal name

True, but then also look at every other name Stan Lee has ever created.

Peter Parker
Bruce Banner
Reed Richards
Matt Murdock
Sue Storm
Doctor Doom / Victor Von Doom
Scott Summers
Warren Worthington

Stan Lee is an American who makes American names with alliteration in them. I just thought it was kinda... you know... to be expected out of Stan "The Man".

So the next announcement is on the 2nd (tomorrow)?
Given everything starting today onward, really seems like CR is cutting it close; maybe they don't have as much coming as last season. Either way, looking forward to more announcements.

The opening episode was pretty decent. for some reason I look at hero man and see osamu tezuka's style especially with it's eyes

granted, the premise of this show (boy befriends valiant robot and teaches it right from wrong) may not be the most original, but keep in mind that some of the most popular animes do tend to follow a formula. After all, there are tons of harem animes where a lazy hapless high-schooler lives next door to the object of his desire since kindergarden. One day, the slacker gets a knock on the door, and there is an unbelievably attractive female who happens to be an angel/alien/witch/vampire who tells him that they are destined to be married. She goes with him to school where she meets his perverted but well-meaning friend and his bizzarre teacher. All sorts of hijinks ensue until the day when her sister arrives and things take a turn for the worse. Thats like twenty shows right there! I'm sure this show will be pretty good.
