Your viewing habits have very little to do with to whom the show is targeted. The demographic for this show is exactly what I stated above. Remember the sorry social situation in Japan, and why there is a market for these shows.

Heh heh. Expecting the worst of people is in my job description, and I am very rarely disappointed.

Protip: Those who can easily get it for free, don't need to buy it.

Not a surprise to this title here as ANN already said they were getting it (plus it's a marvelous) title. looks interesting I'll be watching it.

Hopefully the one on the 5th is Arakawa Under The Bridge.

If they are going to air that they are going to be late... the first episode already aired either today or yesterday and the next announcement isn't until Monday.... *correction* yes it has already aired, so they would be late... but then again it's happened with other shows so there still is a chance.

As far as this show goes... it seems like every season a show similar to this gets done at least once, sometimes twice. The same cookie cutter of boy in a magic academy with a busty friend and sometimes an android thrown in has been done to death. I agree with whomever said that there is a market in Japan for these shows and that's why they are getting made... just look at how many posts in the CR pulse have been about people carrying around hugging body pillows with these same character types on them.

If I make it past the first few eps of a show like this it's a miracle and means there is a genuinely good story behind it, or at least an entertaining one and boobs, butts and panty shots wont be enough to keep me watching if it's just those three ingredients tossed in with some story that's been done 100 times over. To put it more succinctly... I'm not holding out much hope for this show.

I'm a little weary about this season and what CR picks up... I've said it before on the boards that of all of last seasons releases the ones I liked the best were not done by CR. I'll keep my anime membership for Fairy Tail alone, but I'm really wondering if they are going to pick up the better shows this season or not.

So far I'd say 1/2 for decent shows this season on CR... maybe... I'm not so sure about Heroman, but it should probably be pretty good.... here is hoping for a better announcement on Monday.

Also hoping for arakawa under the bridge on Monday.

*sighs* Disappointment number 2.

Perhaps you are confusing the anime I said with an ecchi one? The one I was talking about is a light-hearted romantic comedy.
But still I'll check out CR's new simulcasts to see if one catches my attention.

Thats the only one that comes up when you search anidb... based off a shoujo manga by Fujiwara Hiro... it's aired already.... but like I said CR has done that with multiple shows giving a double header the first week they air it, so it still could be picked up. It looks interesting and I'd much rather that be picked up than the one that they just did today.
