I have a diary before but as days passed, I'm getting lazier in writing.
All I have now is an online diary (blog) to keep some recent updates about me.

I don't have one because whenever I try to someone finds it

The closest thing I had to a diary is an organizer with a list of tasks. No way would I ever write my thoughts on paper. I mean unless I'm seeing a psychiatrist and he/she recommends it I wouldn't ever jot my thoughts on paper.

i did when i was like 10. but then my sister and my mom would read it for entertainment. even if i hid it, they would search for it -_-+

once, i talked bad about my mom in my diary and she found my diary and read it. she got pissed off because i called a crazy psycho so she grounded me! she started crying and said "how could you do this to me?". -______- she was the one who invaded my privacy

Yeah, I have a diary. I use it to reflect those memories and see how much personal growth I have achieved. :)

That's the main reason I decided to have a diary. I wanted to see if I improved in any way and how my mood was compared to another day. When I feel like my feelings are all out, I'll probbaly delete the diary though I like having one :/

I had a diary when I was 9, but then someone finds it and reads it so I burned it.
Now I keep a simple notebook so that I could write the things that I have learned, kinda like a reminder because I'm very forgetful.
I stopped writing though, I want it to feel like a hobby, not a routine.

i had one once...mum read it....didn't write in it or anything else after that! LOL
I found i don't need a diary, i usually do this weird thing in my head where i act out the scene again and say whatever i wanted to but didn't at the time or if it doesn't fit in a "scene", i just make one up LOL. Suaully do this if i can't keep it in anymore...otherwise i rant to my friends LOL.
Anyway, i would have one, but its waste of time writing it out, and making sure to put it somewhere the parents wouldn't find it. And i usually have too much to write about, so i don't bother
Two of my best friends know everything that would go in a diary, and at least they give advice! We all do this to each other, and we call it "ranting" LOL. And if you tell one of them and the other isn't there to listen, i have to repeat myself again, letting out the buil-up of steam and anger or happiness or sorrow...etc.
And while ranting, make sure u take the topic back to ur original problem until you've cooled down or it doesnt help

Don't need or have one

Back in the days, diary used to be personal, and a person used to keep it in secret. They even had diaries with locks and keys. Even voice recognition.

But now, we have blogs.

I don't get it.

You don't share your feelings in a piece of paper to anyone, but you share your feelings in a webpage for the whole public to read.

I have kept them since 2004. Reading them back is just an incredible feeling. Things that seemed like the end of the world then, I could just laugh about them now. This is why I keep diaries.
