I'm eager to watch this show. Since it seems that CR won't be able to stream this show, are there any legitimate sites out there similar to CR where I might find this, ones that actually support the anime industry?

Call me 'goody-two-shoes' but I'd like to continue watching currently airing anime on authorized sites. I've done searches and such and found plenty of sites with the show available to view but I have two issues. First, I suspect that most of them are illegitimate, meaning they ripped it from TV and are broadcasting it without permission and second, I wouldn't know which sites to trust, I'm always wary of download/torrent sites for fear of viruses/etc.

When I wake up every morning. I always check Instantz.net first. Its all about anime and the front page has a listing of any new episodes that are out. And it has a ton of animes as well. I more or less go to that site because it is basically like a new anime bulletin board for new episodes and animes

i don't really mind if only her appearance almost similar to haruhi
and i think her character ain't bad either

but for the first episode, dun you think it's a bit fast forward, like there's not enough space for the story to tell

Well lets just say they needed to give us a ton of information from the first episode otherwise....we woulda been lost on a couple things. This whole idea of the afterlife and how things works requires a lot of time to tell, which it did. But I think we wont have to worry about having too much information in the next episodes. But yea I can see what ya mean

This series is either going to be really, really interesting or a rather big fail. The first episode was incredibly random. Undead people fighting one high school chick in an attempt to not be reborn? They don't even know that "disappearing is a bad thing"... yet they pull weapons out of their asses and do what? Steal food stamps. Doesn't make sense whatsoever.

This anime's plot is also strangely similar to Gantz... though filled with moe characters. And seeing as how this is a Key production, they're going to somehow tie in a tragic love relationship to this story. My bets on the main character douchebag and the Angel.

But I have to admit the animation quality is amazing. And at least this anime is entertaining to watch, with your mind turned off though.

This story is similar to Suzumiya Haruhi. The characters, design and part of the plot are also likely to Suzumiya Haruhi. May be. . .I'll think of to watch it. . .

The first episode left me a bit confused and I'm hoping everything will make a bit more sense in the follow-ups. So far, I can't recommend this series until I see at least two more episodes.

To me, the way they presented the scenario for this anime, it tells me these things.

1. Since you dont age and there is no time limit for anything, this anime has UNLIMITED potential, its not constricted by other logic like graduating a school...getting killed or so forth.

2. We are gona see action scenes from them doing the most simplest of tasks....remember they had a shootout with the Angel girl for what purpose? To get simple meal tickets. If something that epic was for simple meal tickets, think whats going to happen when they do something important...the battle should be amazing.

3. This is the Afterlife, ANYTHING can happen. (Kinda restated 1. but yall get the point).

Well episode 2 was certainly surprising. To think an entire episode could be dedicated to just returning to their home base. I loved how people kept dying one after another and how the little kid kept saying "I forgot about it!", that was down right funny. We also got to see the *brigade chiefs* past, which I must say was hella sad. Seriously this anime is interesting. Its literally playing a gigantic Role Playing Game in an anime. I swear in the beginning when the chief is giving orders in their little headquarters....thats the one of the most badass scenes in anime I reckon. Just that whole enviroment of the Principals Office when the big screen pops up and the room is all dark is really a sight to see. This anime has got me hooked, and I cant wait to see what happens next!

Edit: I wont lie, I really was looking forward to Otonashi grabbing and sexual place on Yuri when he was climbing, god I would have LOVED to see that. Also the English speaking guy was awesome. Fucking Crazy!

I thought the first episode was so damn boring. It just felt like it didn't go anywhere, and I didn't find any of the characters or concepts interesting. I don't think I want to risk wasting another half hour on the 2nd episode when I hated the first one so.

Is it just me or is this show getting a bit of flak. For some reason everyone seemed to be expecting the world of it and have already decided that it isn't delivering.

Taken for what it is I'm finding it a lot of fun. It's got a good premise that's unusual, has the potential for mystery and a lot of comedy. I can't make out if I preferred the gorgeously animated actions equences of episode one or the knockabout comedy of episode 2, which was remarkably well done. It's a more than solid show so far and a really entertaining watch.

I seriously love this anime, it's my favorite this year!! It does feel a lot like a video game~
I LIKE how much info they pack into one ep, it makes it seem a lot longer somehow~
