I saw the preview of the anime on the list of 2010 shows coming out-it didnt catch my eye. When sheer boredom got ahold of me, I decided to check it out-

I actually like it and Im still looking at it. Every episode has not failed to let me down...especially episode 4(that little girl aint so little!)

Even being a fan of Studio SHAFT's works, I failed to notice this series at first - oh how much do I regret doing so

Thoroughly enjoying it atm, being one of the most fascinating and peculiar (latter's debatable, due to being SHAFT + Shinbo influenced) romantic comedies I've seen.

Some very similar qualities with Bakemonogatari - especially the frequent eye shots where he looks very similar to Araragi Koyomi.

Excellent choice of voice actors (majority from SZS and Bakemonogatari), up to par with Durarara!! (coincidentally quite a few of them also in the same series)

OP is standard of SHAFT (this series' motif is probably on fish I'm thinking...?), ED's by Suneohair, who happens to sing 'Waltz' and 'Split' for ED of Honey & Clover, which are my two favourite of all time

Serious-looking faces of the Kappa Chief and Hoshi are pure win and bonus points for being voiced by Keiji Fujiwara and Tomokazu Sugita respectively.

Episode 5 introduced a new character named P-Ko! A clumsy chick...woot! God this anime is just so friggin random. God what else is there to say. Well I guess that banana slide was probably the most epic thing I have seen in this anime. Cant wait for Hoshi and Recruits musical showdown! xD

The Episode 5 OP change caught me by surprise, but by god is it catchy. P-Ko wasn't as interesting as some of the other characters, I think, but it was still a really good episode. As for the music battle, I'm betting Recruit's violin gets smashed; there's just no way I can see Hoshi and him not ending up punching each other.

Episode 6 was another fun episode. Recruit teaches kids how to swim, and then Recruit feels like setting up a school! This could get very interesting from here on out....not that it wasnt already. Damn, cant remember what happened since I watched the video 2 days ago...and forgot to make a comment. Oh well....it was an awesome episode regardless. Heck, this is the first time the lil gag show at the end had a success! Go Mayor kappa!

The only scene I found funny in most of the series was in ep 6 when the kids offered recruit a bath when he looked into the drum the mayor was submerged looking up smiling up at recruit. I simply can't stop watching from the randomness of the show.

Episode 7 was epic. Stella made the whole episode go beyond awesome into the epic range. She is the most BAD ASS loli I have ever seen. This anime is so random and funny....seems like a great mix. And if we havent figured it out already...we now know that P-ko loves the Mayor. I also loved how Nino's hair looked like a windmill when the wind was blowing. Gosh, this anime is pretty neat...no matter how old it gets. Long live Stella!

Episode 8 was cool. All I gotta say is that I feel bad for Star. But hey...at least we get to see that this anime still has romance in its genre's. I wouldnt want to have a secretary like that xD. And oooo boy does his father seem like he is gona lay down the law sooner or later.
