NO SHIT

Suicide planes, suicide bombs same thing, they used explosives to make a direct attack on the U.S. and that is a good enough reason to go to war. And as for Iraq, they are harboring enemy terrorists, have the same hostile intentions on the U.S. and if it wasn't for the high security responses after these terrorist attacks, they would have done the same.

No, they're very different, the conspiracy theorists are the ones who say bombs were in the buildings. No explosives were used, they drove planes into buildings.

And as for Iraq, you have no idea what you are talking about. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, "harboring enemy terrorists" doesn't mean anything; you can say that about every country in the world including the US, they didn't have any hostile intentions on the US, they would not have done the same because they could not have done the same and they had no reason to.

According to George Bush, who btw was the guy who started the war, the purpose of the war was to bring democracy to Iraq. I don't know why you brought up 9/11 and all this other random propaganda nonsense, your president explained it pretty clearly.

A lot of hate and chain-quoting here, let's keep it clean.

On topic: America does need to be taught not to butt into other country's business, maybe then the terrorist bombings will stop. Look at it this way, would you rather see citizen's in other countries killing themselves or killling your soldiers?

Harboring enemy terrorists means you are helping them. Helping terrorists is a crime against the U.S.

Oh and clearly democracy is the worst form of government because dictatorship is the way to go. I mean cmon thats what the extremely successful North Korea is doing right now isn't it? And the development of nukes. How lovely.

There's no point in continuing, I'd have to start writing an essay each time I respond to your posts because of the level of ignorance, I don't got time for that now.

but I really want to respond.....

I'll do it in point form:

-The US is harboring terrorists and is a terrorist states itself, should it be invaded, bombed and occupied?
-The dictator Saddam Hussien was put in power and fully supported by the US, just like countless other dictators all over the world were. And the US has not brought democracy to Iraq at all.
-Your knowledge of world affairs is so limited that it would be better to stick to one topic and not be random.

You know, it would make more sense to be educated on the issues you try to discuss, otherwise you waste people's time.

oh I'm sorry I thought I wouldn't have to explain myself as most of it is common sense.

You see, normally, when there's an insane man ruling a country as a tyrant, and attempting to get nuclear power, as well as already in posession of chemical weapons, its probably the best thing to kill him, and his followers, and try to rebuild their fucked up economy. Do you understand now? No? Then maybe you should try living in Iraq with none of the freedoms you have now. Then come back to me and say I think this war is a terrible idea

Ohhhh Now I see why you're against this war. You're from Canada...that explains a lot...your guys' French DNA is embedded within your genetics

True enough, was merely remarking on my amusement at it is all

Even though I can rarely stick to it, I try to ban myself from these threads for this very reason, we all hold very different viewpoints on political matters, and nine times out of ten we can't convince others to agree with us. Call me a coward but meh! Personally I think there are arguments both for and against our current military deployments, and I lean towards being against for various reasons, the largest one being human nature. Someone hits you, you hit back, then his brother gets pissed, he hits you, then you get your mates and ambush him and so on and so forth, and the cycle of pointless bullshit continues.

End of the day, it boils down to the fact that regardless of our political opinions we can't actually change anything anyway. People in power have and always will do as they see fit, with or without our blessing.

if you want to watch faux news and listen to rush limbaugh for decent sources of news then be my guest, there was no just cause for war in iraq, weapons of mass destruction where never FOUND, Sadam hated osama and we can't police the world and make it better, we should have went after the saudis that where harboring osama and maybe we would have killed him. Nice to know that this war has been going on for 9 years and he is still out there, but I will level with you I am happy Sadam is dead and gone since he was an asshole but we should have never put him in power in the 1st place.
