If you have Adblock installed (or similar software) it will block the offers from showing up. Otherwise, it should show up fine.

Should I be worried that Web of Trust doesn't trust half of the promotions given? I'm not gonna participate in something that has been noted as unreliable.

(Also, ID me is a horribly made game. Just throwing it out there. That sound clip makes me want to scream.)

Adblock Plus blocks any ads regardless of whether or not they are safe. I believe the offers are safe but I can't make any guarantees since the whole system is provided by Super Rewards and not us.

If you do not wish to completely disable Adblock, you should disable the following entry in Adblock in order to see the offers:

Thank you, but I'm not talking about Adblock. WOT is a user defined safety ranking system. WOT users mark unreliable websites, either for spyware, spam, unreliable information, child safety, etc...

On many of them, they get poor WOT ratings. This could mean that the sites send spam or house spy-ware or some other nasty stuff I don't want on my computer. How can I be sure that these sites can be trusted other than trying and filling my computer/email with crap?

They're not. They don't care though. You visit those sites and this site gets advertising money and after giving your email they give you CR bucks. Basically it's not safe and I don't recommend it. Buy a membership if you want to watch something instead of getting all the spam.

yea i was scared of doing those offers also, as many of them house viruses and malware. im not sure why crunchyroll offers them when they could potentially harm there members computer.i do see that some members have done the offers and received CRbucks, im wondering which ones have you done and which ones work without harming your computer?

For my one month, I did offers mainly that were quizzes, like "What's your bagel of the day?" or whatever. Best tip is to use a junk e-mail that you don't care about (they do spam... hard). Also, if you have an old house number or cell number, use that instead of your real one. 90% of the time it works. Make up a fake address as well, or you'll receive massive amounts of spam mail. I didn't bother with any of the downloads since I didn't have an Anti-Spyware or Malware program at the time. Now that I've tried out the Anime Membership, I'll be buying starting later this month. Wasted like a day for that one month thing since half the offers never went through.

above comment no doubt the best idea. Fake e-mail for disreputable sources that ask for personal information.

Basically went through what VivoDePyre experienced. Not to mention all the spam that invaded my email for trying to do those crappy *** offers. I wouldn't mind buying, but I lack the funds. Crunchyroll needs an a better alternative than those CR bucks
