Please reply using your own personal view on what being a "good" person is. As for me, I do not consider myself a good person. I have destroyed my own personal beliefs for reasons of personal gain and other things. In conclusion, I think that all human beings are neutral in the sense that they can commit good or evil and it is rather hard to generalize a person to one single affiliation.

Well ever since i was a little kid... I've had relatives and friends of my parents tell me i was such a good boy (who hasn't lol) but for me that had a big impact... it kinda of really made me believe that i was a good boy... plus i watched so many shows about superheroes that for a period of time my life time dream was to be like superman xD (though now i find superman uberrrr lame > < sry superman fans) Also plus the fact that my parents were both pastors of their own individual churches and ordained seniors of the conference thingie... So there was a lot of positive remarks put on me.. like i wonder what kind of bright child this kid will grow up to be... or just looking in his eyes, he looks so kind...

So with all that, i kinda grew up trying to make myself follow stuff like ethics and manners etc... i dont noe if i would call myself a good person, since i've grown up and i know it isn't that simple to decide anymore since there are the endless boundless possibilities of us all being wrong about stuff etc... But i would like to think im a good person, and even now i continue to make sure im known as the "friendly" and "really nice" person in school ^___^

What's the point of your post? It's spam. It doesn't answer anything. You don't even give us any parameters on what's considered being a "good" person.

I make my bed every morning, am I a good person? Or are you talking about something less obligatory such as; walking elderly people?

You're either very bored or you're trying to obtain that achievment for making posts. Those are the only two half-decent ideas I have as to why you made such a useless post that even you don't want to participate in.

In an attempt to answer the topic, no, I don't consider myself a good person. I lie, cheat, gamble, and make love to my un-wedded girlfriend every night. Sin is saintly.

There are no default "parameters" on being a "good" person. I expected everyone to answer based on their own personal definition of what a "good" person is. It can be what society dictates as a "good" person or it can be personal, religious, etc.

Also, obligations have nothing to do with affiliations of "good" or "evil." For example, one of my obligations is to go to school, but does that have anything to do with my affiliation?

I do not understand why you could answer the topic without vehemently attacking my post with no consensual basis. I simply needed more time to come up with a post rather than just post biased views on affiliations.

In conclusion, before you violently rush into a thread looking for a way to flame someone, please do not make assumptions and just answer the question you came in to answer. Otherwise simply do not reply.

I was just blown away and left dumbfounded as to why the person who made the topic, not have an answer to his own question.

Spam is spam. If you needed more time to answer your own topic question, wouldn't it be better advised to not create such a topic until then?

There wouldn't even be any need to "flame" (though, that's hardly me flaming someone, I asked pointed questions to better understand what your topic meant) you, if you, the OP, actually posted something tangible and relevant to your own topic.

I understand your argument and it seems completely logical. However, I wanted to create the topic and read some of the responses because I wanted inspiration for my own answer which I was not sure of.
In the end, I see where you are coming from and I apologize if I offended or angered you or the other users in any way. Next time I will be sure to take your advice. Have yourself a nice day or night, if you please.

I kinda like the topic, it forces everyone to get a little introspective.

My answer: In colored terms of white being good, and black being bad, imagine an average person as mostly gray. I'm more of a mix of pure white and black, with little spots of gray here and there. Overall I feel like I'm mostly good, and people often tell me as much, but I also know of the "backstage" of my positive exploits and I'm well aware of the terrible things I'm capable of doing (and losing no sleep over ).

In short: Both, in extremes.

Not at all. I needn't inscribe any reason. I'm just generally not a good person.

No, perhaps not. I'm just a neutral sort of person. Not good, but not as bad. I'm bitchy and ill-tempered, but I can be friendly or optimistic if necessary.
