Most of you probably already know what IkkiTousen is so I don't think I have to get a detailed description about it. Anyways I was watchin' it and was wondering what do other people think about it. So tell me what do you think? I think its eye candy. Unrelated -> Queens Blade is definitely eye candy

Eyecandy to men

It's basically just a bunch of girls with loose, skimpy clothing fighting...and sometimes loosing that clothing.
And in all honestly, I wouldn't call it empowering to women.

who really cares?? I mean really who really gives well you know
. The 1st season was rather good but the others don't really seem to serve a purpose, the plot really jumped the shark is what I am trying to say lol. I will say one thing though go watch queens blade then comment, because the show is pure eye candy and butts galore lol.

While it is good the female characters are not in any way weak, timid, and in need of protection, it is blatantly obvious the main element is fan service.

On a side note, it appears in the latest season they have caught what I call "Agent Aika disease" (i.e., all panties must be white). All the panty flashes didn't bother me before, but for some reason this change has begun to irritate me.

Pure slutty trash. Nothing from that garbage empowers women. Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit Balsa show true female empowerment not that trash.

I would say no, although it has had yuri elements to it from time to time.

To put it differently, if you hate yuri, there would definitely be episodes to avoid, while if you like it, you might be disappointed.

I only watched up to the episode where the eye-patch chick pretty much got raped by that other chick over some dude. How is that empowering?

I got very distracted in the fights, so I`d say it`s eye candy for men (and lesbians) :P
But it was some very nice fights though, even if there wasn`t any pantie shots XD
Season 1 & 2 is the best imo, the next ones are more fooling around.

All true. The lady fans I've talked to mostly find it to be a cheap exploitation "guy's anime". Although I say with the first two series you can take away the excessive exploding clothes/nakedness and they still have value as an action show. I couldn't really say the same thing about some other fanservice show.
