Please be nice to us down under!

More effective if you write a letter to Madman and ask them to be nice to Crunchyroll. Its almost certain to be Madmen, since they are the R4/Oceania DVD distributor, unless there is some broadcast rights somewhere for some Ozzie cable television channel.

They could at least confirm whether they are the ones blocking CR streaming to Oz:

Not any more; we in Britain have started seeing "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region." in the last few days. Any comment?

It looks like Crunchyroll has a conflict with Kadokawa about streaming in the UK but the details are unknown. It's probably the same reason Strike Withes 2 isn't available in the UK but Crunchyroll said they are working on it.

They said from the start that SW2 wouldn't be available here, but Haruhi was supposed to be and has been up until a few days ago. It isn't a blanket Kadokawa problem since I can still watch Omamori Himari, Uraboku and Reinya.

Oddly, trying to view either of the following gives me "Sorry, you can't view this Publisher.":

Found on the series comments page:

Have emailed Crunchyroll support on the UK issue and it turns out this series was never supposed to be available in the UK in the first place so they have corrected the issue

Since the announcement here and the press release both clearly and explicitly state that agreement between Crunchyroll and Kadokawa includes the British Isles I want to know who stuffed up and why they thought they could just quietly remove access without saying anything.
