There's just a lot to do! And even when you don't have much money in your pockets, you can get a good meal on the streets. xD Being a New Yorker, I've grown tired of the city, but you can't help but miss the atmosphere there. I used to live a block away from Times Square. <3

It would be cool to live in NYC for a bout a year, but not more than that. I prefer other places...

pretty much every race lives here, and when u drive across the Manhattan bridge at night it's gorgeous
even if it is rat filled and the people are assholes, but there's a lot of people, once u stuff too many people in one city it gets like that naturally, I think this city's wonderful, then again I do live here

I wouldn't wanna live there! I went for a week long vacation and I wanted to leave the second day.
Guess it was too much of a culture shock for me xD

I'd like to visit but not live there. I've heard the rats are huuuge, people are rude, and you can't see the sky when you're down there. But on the flip side the food & shopping is great, theaters are awesome ,and the Statue of Liberty is ... well.. it's big and iconic. It's more of a tourist thing I guess. I'll stay in my own beloved polluted city, thank you very much.

Lots to do, lots to see....

However, NY is not for me. Gigantic rats? Dirty streets? Rain, snow, shine, leaves...the whole four seasons.

Yeah. I have no desire to go there, personally. Despite the "attractions" it has to offer.

One of the most populous urban areas in the world. A leading global city, New York exerts a powerful influence over global commerce, finance, media, culture, art, fashion, research, education, and entertainment.

I might lived there one day, too bad I'm in Seattle.

I happen to live and attend college here in NYC. It's not too bad. The streets are cleaner now as opposed to the 80's; the rat problem, believe it or not is under control, you hardly even see them on the subway tracks or platform anymore; and the idea that everyone is rude and stuff in NY is wrong, we're actually pretty friendly. New York City is the best place to live, it may not be the most wallet friendly, but everyday is like adventure!
