Dio climbed a flight of stairs. He unsurprisingly found Intossicati passed out on the floor with a few empty bottles nearby. Dio removed his jacket and wrapped Intossicati in it to keep her a little bit warmer.
Dio abandoned Intossicati and entered the brig that the Drunk Driver was suppose to be guarding. Currently, God's Bastion only had one prisoner: Mattheau de Invidia.
Dio entered the brig. He was shocked to find the cell door empty.
Mattheau was gone.
Dio examined the cell door.
"They just left," deduced Dio.
Dio went to search for Mattheau and possible an accomplice.

Aventh got back up immediately as he felt the Mark of Darkness moving, and quickly "This is no time to be playing with Nero" Aventh quickly decided as he bolted down a hallway in the direction of the Mark of Darkness, he could sense that it was moving slowly out of the castle he was currently in, and then most likely off of God's Bastion, he would have to find it quickly before he lost its trace.

The door to Nero's throne room opened. Vecchio stumbled in.
"You should be dead," said Nero.
Vecchio laughed, coughing up blood. "When I realized that my opponent could manipulate time, I used up as much power as I could to make a paradoxical copy of myself. Ha! I will not die that easily."
"Tch, you idiot," mumbled Nero.
"What?"
Nero snapped his fingers. From the shadows, Sciocco and Voce appeared, each wielding a sword. The two subordinates stabbed Vecchio in the heart, killing the old man.
"The dead should stay dead," said Nero.
Nero took out a metal ball from his pocket. It buzzed to life.
"Hello?" came Dio's voice from the ball.
"Vecchio used time magic," informed Nero.
"Well, that is his Capacita."
"He went too far, creating a paradox. Les Giorni will be here soon to clean up this mess. Also, Aventh didn't come here. He must have realized that I do not have the Mark of Darkness. Even if he had come here, I doubt I would have stood a chance. If Aventh encounters the Mark of Darkness, it will delay my plans."
"The bearer of the Mark of Darkness is missing."
Nero thought for a moment. "Leave God's Bastion for now. We'll salvage what we can and try again later. Lay low for a while. Meet me back at where she died when the sun eclipses."
"Understood. Good luck."
"And to you. Also, besides us, the only Canzoni left here are Intossicati and Genesi. Make sure they leave soon."
"Understood."
The ball went lifeless and clattered to the floor. A portal appeared from the shadows.
"How dare you ruin my plans, Aventh DeValen," muttered Nero.
Nero walked into the portal. Voce and Sciocco followed him. The portal closed behind them.

Dio picked up Intossicati, whom turned out to have been knocked out rather than passed out. He found Genesi in her dorm. The three Canzoni left God's Bastion.

Aventh ran down a spiralling staircase. At the entrance to a hallway, he found Rosseau dragging the unconscious Mattheau.
"So that was your objective," said Aventh. "You used me as a distraction to retrieve Mattheau de Invidia." He stopped. He sensed something from Mattheau. "Mattheau has the Mark of Darkness?!"
Aventh felt a resonance from outside the castle complex. It almost seemed like time manipulation, like someone was trying to free God's Bastion's time.
"We'll talk about this later!" shouted Rosseau. "We need to go now!"
Aventh opened up a portal that led to Invidia Mansion. The three of them exited via the portal, it closing before the time freeze reached the area.

Lord Sunday the Sun walked into Nero's throne room. He found the corpse of Vecchio.
"So this is the scum who dared make a paradox," said Sunday.
Sunday snapped his fingers. The body caught on fire, disintegrating. He looked around.
Someone else used time manipulation, thought Sunday. If I'm not mistaken, this is the same aura as that man whom His Majesty encountered. He was given the Mark of Light so I can't touch him. Though mark my words, Aventh, do this again and Les Giorni will have a little talk with you.
Sunday faded into nothing.

Sonno, Howie, Angie, and Parker arrived at the Room of Infinite Possibilities. The gigantic room was full of black and white doors.
"Welcome to the Room of Infinite Possibilies," informed Sonno. "These doors can lead you to any door anywhere. White doors already lead to a place but black doors are vacant."
Sonno walked to the nearest black door and took out a key. He handed it to Angie.
"Think of where you want to go when you insert that key," said Sonno. "If you do, you'll be able to use that door to go to Remus. Also, that key can go into any door outside the Room of Infinite Possibilities and bring you back here."
Angie inserted the key into the black door near Sonno. With a click, the door was unlocked. Angie opened the door to reveal the Holy City of Remus.
