XLR8 - Ppop

XLR8 has 8 members namely Francis Ramos, Carlo Lazerna, Hideaki Torio, Caleb Santos, Arkin Del Rosario, Melmar Magno, Meljohn Magno and Adrian Muhlach.

They are being helmed by Viva to be launched anytime this month of March.

Their vocals are way BETTER than any Korean boybands that you can name. Hear for yourself to believe. Here’s the radio rip of their upcoming single “You’re So Hot!”:

so what do you guys think??

"Their vocals are way BETTER than any Korean boybands that you can name" -- this statement kinda agitates me in a way. sorry for saying so.
im Filipino too [im assuming your filipinoC:] and im glad that PH now has ppop groups and singers aren't all ballad now, but srsly. that statement kinda pisses me off. don't hate me or anything im just stating my opinion.
i''ve heard some of their songs and i think they're pretty good and have potential, but to say that they have better vocals than any korean boybands i can name is well... just pisses me off in a way.
TRUE, they have pretty good vocals, but theyre not the best =3=;) i can name a few korean boybands who actually have pretty awesome vocals than these boys. DBSK, SHiNee, BigBang, Super Junior, Ukiss, and a lot more. have you ever heard of them or listened to their songs? DBSK esp have pretty awesome vocals. and i dont see that statement appealing in any way =3=;)
i can't really put it in words but yeah C: just saying my opinion

lol, yeah that thing was mentioned in the article (yeah, the writer was pretty arrogant............but the boyband does need attention) .................. and yes im filipino <3 ................ uumm....... this boyband is pretty new, and pretty much the filipino industry is new when it comes to training boybands, and theres still alot of progress to be made (both the industry and the boyband ;] )...................yup, they are not the best of the best but they are one of the best when it comes to vocals (considering they can all sing)...................and yes I've heard of them (but I've only listened to suju, tvsq and taeyong of bigbang, but im not that crazy about them "anymore".....hehe, i've figured out i can live without them ;] ) oh, and keep in mind these boybands have been around for along time now and they've had more serious and better training than xlr8......and ummm.... better trainers??...... ...... lol..........peace

yes. no offense but that statement seems and is kind arrogant and offensive to other fans.
not trying to make a big deal out of this, i just feel like expressing my opinionC:
ooh! im Filipino too:p haha just saying. and im glad that the Philippine Music Industry has expanded from having ballad and acapella singers and now have ppop groups:D yes. i agree. it does need a bit more progress^^ being new and all.

xlr8, hmm? i kinda find some potential in them. just as a viewerC: but yes. theyre not exactly 'the best' yet. i think they still have a lot to learn^^ i mean their still new to the music industry and they could learn a lot from their seniors:D soo yes. get what i mean?
and the groups i mentioned, even though they've been in the music/entertainment/etc world/industry/etc they also have a lil bit of learning to doC: i mean we learn all our lives^^ sooo yes. i think im making sense. sorry if im not:p

They're so cute. I hope they get really famous one day for who they are and not for being copy-cats as other may think.

hmmm.......
@ jeshelle.... i don't think so... it's just OPM must expand...
i think this is a prat of expansion....as we know....mostly filipino singers sing ballad or acoustic that's why many filipinos like kpop not because they are good..it's because the style is different from ours.. when it comes to vocals...no offense to kpop fans but filipinos have more potential...it's just many of them don't have more exposure...
I'm glad that opm is really improving...
actually this is my first time to hear this band....i'm in manila but i didn't hear about then yet..they need more tv exposure.i guess...
i think ogie alcasid is really doing great in his job .......
continue supporting opm.... gogogoogo

I agree they have room for improvement and I don't see a problem if they're inspired by Kpop. I mean, that's what's "in" right? It's not like they're K-posers or anything, and I think since debut they've improved soooooo much! I love listening to them. <3
