I think my brother has it...throughout his whole life I never saw him go out with his friends....but now that I realize it i probably have it too....if your a stranger I most likely won't deliberately volunteer to talk to you....and Im constantly searching for things to say, and I'm kinda afraid to talk to people thats not my friend

I thought S.A.D only standed for Seasonal Affective Disorder but whatever, seems like psychologists love using "SAD" for any mental disorder

No I deffinitly dont have that problem, Im kind of a very very sociable person.

Oh yea but I've Seasional Affective disorder ( but besides feeling sleepy and almost depresive(lol) with bad weather nothing that matters)

i dread going anywhere highly populated, like having to go into a big city, clubs, or even school.
But i think its just because i like peace and quiet. I usually have headphones in and some kind of soothing music (slow piano music or something like it) to block it all out.
I dont like talking much, but i will hold a conversation if the other person can keep up and keep me entertained.

Might be having it too. I mean, I do get uncomfortable when I'm the public's attention, if that counts

Okay so I've recently found out about S.A.D or Social Anxiety Disorder through stuff on the internet. I've taken quizzes and have read some stuff on it and I think I have it. At first I thought I had paranoia or something but I'm pretty sure I have S.A.D. Anyway I was wondering if there was anybody else out there that actually has it and if there is maybe they could help me understand it better.

I was told that SAD was "Seasonal Affective Disorder" in my health class. Maybe there's multiple SAD

Quizzes on the internet have no credibility.
Or else I have Schizophrenia and manic depression

I don't have Sad , but do suffer from Agoraphobia.

I get nervous and panicky when there are more than 10 or more so people in one place .

SAD is Seasonal Affective Disorder. I've never got a doctor to confirm that I have this, but having noticed symptoms for it for almost 7 years - It is highly probable that I do suffer from SAD. Basically, SAD is where your mood changes depending on the season. If your winter is cold, rainy, and dark - you tend to become really depressed and lose appetite. When sunny summer perks up - you tend to stay happier. At first I thought it was just because I was sad. I later found out a pattern in my moods. Happy in Summer. Sad in Winters. A way to relieve of SAD symptoms were to stay in bright places during winter - like shine a light on yourself. It sort of helped, but I still felt really down sometimes. =\

As for your Social Anxiety Disorder (SAnD)... I don't have. I sometimes do tend to be VERY afraid to socialize or go to group gatherings (even pick up phones). I'm not sure why, but its just that I don't know how to hold conversations for very long. I want to know more about them but I don't know how to continue convos. lol~ Tbh, people are generally afraid to even give speeches. My speech from years back, I almost broke down and ran away. - you're not alone. I took a speech class and it really helped.

p.s. quizzes dont really tell you anything.

Ya I guess so. I never heard of Social Anxiety Disorder until I looked into it. I’ve never heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder though.
