So any updates would be most appreciated. |

It's been two weeks now, and I'm still having trouble watching videos through your service.
I'm connecting to the same two servers that nslookup brought up the first time around. For reference, here's a link to my earlier post: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-627053/help-with-video-playback-problems?fpid=35473448 720p videos are unwatchable at any time of day, regardless of it being a recently released episode or an archived one. 480p videos are unwatchable on peak hours, but every now and then they'll stream properly on odd hours. SD will work on odd hours flawlessly, but on peak hours even that mode will stutter non-stop. Of course, that last piece of information is irrelevant, as I wouldn't pay a fee to stream something of that quality. Buffering for long stretches of time is of no help as well. It will either just outright break the stream somehow, (Subtitles de-syncing, no audio or no video are some of the common results.) or it won't make a difference at all as the stutter will be present nonetheless. This is quite frankly unacceptable. Unlike some posters here, I'm not going to throw around threats about not renewing my subscription if things don't change. I'm simply canceling it right now. I sincerely hope you manage to provide a better service in the weeks to come. I'll take glance at this thread again in a month or so; if at that point it seems like you are once again stable enough to reliably attend to the needs of your premium members, I'll resubscribe. Thank you for your time. |

I was cautiously optimistic 3 weeks ago, and it was mostly good for 3 weeks with absolutely nothing streaming one Sunday. Now, for 2 nights in a row, it's been impossible to watch anything. Even on a "good" evening, it wasn't completely trouble-free - i.e. I often had to reload until I got a smooth stream.
It's a real crap-shoot. FWIW: resolving crunchy.fcod.llnwd.net cycles among these 4 IPs through my DNS. 68.142.122.202 68.142.122.197 68.142.122.195 208.111.159.156 It's been these same 4 IPs for me a while. |

I have been having a lot of trouble playing videos on the website. They appear to be loading, but very slowly (it takes about 5 minutes for the video to progress 15 seconds) and when I go back to the start and click play, nothing happens.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and tried it on both Chrome and Internet Explorer. My internet connection is cable broadband (Australia). Interestingly, it seems to work fine on my phone. Please help. |

It's been unwatchable 3 nights in a row, now, during prime time. Last night, it got better around my bed time.
Family members who've been watching K-dramas during day time tells me that things got worse during that time as well although not nearly as bad as prime time. |

I am sick of putting up with Video's not streaming fast enough to watch. First it was just 720P then 480P and now even SD is occasionally having problems. Even if I pause it to let it load, IT DOESN'T LOAD.... If this continues I will be cancelling my subscription and returning to the RELIABLE methods.

This Is REALLY getting on my nerves now,NOTHING loads for me....WHY!?
You guy's used to be really good about this stuff(Like fixing it the same day or day after),But now there's been loading problems since the end of February till now(at least for me) So to sum this all up...WHAT THE HELL'S THE HOLDUP. P.S:doing all I can to watch legally, but it's getting increasingly difficult |

It really is a crap shoot. Seems like there are enough people having the issue for it to be significant. Since I started reading / posting in this thread two people cancelled their subscriptions even. Judging by some other post seems like a couple more may follow. I don't expect you guys to fix things after people click the post button but it is disappointing that status updates aren't even posted.

Im pretty much having what everyone else is right now, and i think its sad that i'm paying for a legal way to watch anime, only to spend the night searching for illegal ways to watch it!

Not only has it been impossible to watch for 4 evenings in a row, we've also had it stop mid-stream and autoplay to the next episode even when it looked like we were going to get smooth playback. This happened about 10 minutes and 30 minutes into watching 1 hour K-drama episodes.

I've been following this tread for about 2 weeks now, basically because I've had the same problem with streaming as everyone else and wanted to see what was being done about it. I find it a little insulting that Crunchyroll has stayed quiet about the problem. I know that they were looking in to the issue with the new server, but haven't said anything since.
Right now service is completely unstable. You don't know if you're going to get an episode to stream or not. Sometimes I get halfway through and then it starts the stuttering and that's more frustrating then the stutter right from the beginning. Generally on off hours I can get episodes to play with out issue(I watch the 480 streams because my DSL can only seem to handle that load). Then suddenly the peak hour rolls around and the server is hammered everything stutters. I have to let episodes buffer as much as they can, though I've been told that Crunchyroll only allows about 4 minutes to buffer anyway(unless they've changed that practice). Totally frustrating as a paying member. I only hope that you get this fixed very soon... it's really making Crunchyroll look bad. With this happening I cannot recommend Crunchyroll to my friends. |

I should do more with my profile, but I really only come to watch anime. :/

I completely concure with all the previous posts on this thread about the lag and playback issues. I'm only a recent member, having gone back to Dattebayo after a long absence and being directed here for a legal alternative to fan-subs, but only 2 days after I started my premium membership, is when this whole problem began. It seems to me to be quite a shady business model they have going on here. To charge for a service, then not give said service in an acceptable manner, and then to not even bother letting us know of any changes they've made, or looked into at least, as to fixing this problem. I'm sorry to say that I paid for my membership 3 months in advance, so I might as well stick it out, but unless I see some feedback on this issue, even if it is simply regularly posted updates on the situation, I will recommend to all my friends to steer clear of this site.
