I can't get any videos to play. It wont even load. No controls show up, just the black box where the video should be. This problem just began last night.

I'm using a Mac with OS 10.6.8 (latest), Downloaded the latest Flash Player (uninstalled then installed latest), cleared the Flash Cache. Wont work in Safari, Firefox, or Google Chrome.

Tried it with Safari 5.0.5 with this result (Google Chrome 12.0.742.112 reports a similar error).

/xml/?req=RpcApiVideoPlayer_GetStandardConfig&media_id=579800&video_format=102&video_quality=30&auto_play=1&show_pop_out_controls=1&pop_out_disable_message=Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

Tried it in Firefox 5.0 with lots of warnings. Here are a few:

@KimagureKappa have you tried dropping down to 480p? If that works then you have the same problem as everyone else.

That was it. I'd forgotten about the Video Preferences in the Profile section. Your message caused me to check. Switching to 480P fixed it. Thanks for the tip.

None. I submitted a bug report last night, but have not received a response and this thread does not appear to be catching their attention.

No anime this weekend I guess. Very frustrating.

I am having the same problem as everyone else, 720p video not working on any anime. As far as I noticed it started last night. My operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. I tried different browsers as well just to see if that did anything it did not. Kinda sucks this happened during the weekend

As far as it seems, the problem lies with Windows Vista and 7 (32 & 64 bit). Had someone try it on OSX and it does work for them. I would like for anyone try with an older OS like XP if they've got an extra machine.

I reported this already, but:

Mac OS X 10.6.8 & Mac OS X Server 10.6.8
Chrome 12.0.742.112
Safari 5.0.5 (6533.21.1)

720P does not play, but 480P does. Happens across multiple computers (same os/browser).

OSX doesn't work? Well, that threw that theory out of the window.

I'm having major problems viewing any videos. The video will eventually show, but it seems like the connection to Crunchyroll is extremely slow. Perhaps a network routing issue.

When connecting through Fujitsu Services VPN the video plays smoothly. My usual ISP is Cybercity / Telenor.
