I've only just paid for my first month and already thinking about removing my subscription! Been watching bleach from ep 320 to now 357. I start watching, and most times the first 2-3 eps I watch at a time are ok. But then half way through the next one. Stop start, stop start. Then it becomes unwatchable. I use my iPad to watch my anime. Close vicinity to my router. No probs using other apps for videos... First off, which issue? You're having issues on your iPad? What version iPad, can you please tell me the symptoms in whole, etc etc etc. |

So all of today i've been having video issues.
PC: Windows 7 64bit CPU: AMD Phenom X2 550 3.1GHz G.Skill 4GB DDR2 800 Radeon 6670 I usually watch in 1080p, but this time i get like 1 frame per 10 seconds. Happens on all browsers, IE9, FF8, Chrome18 Flash is version 11.2 I dont have any issues with other websites streaming (youtube, vimeo, etc) Edit: I tried streaming with my cellphone tethered to my laptop and it worked fine. When connected to home wifi it has issues. PC has the same issues. cant streaming SD ~ 1080p on Crunchyroll. I streamed http://vimeo.com/35818492 and it loaded just fine. I deleted all cache and cookies on all browser, uninstalled and reinstalled flash and java. Nothing seems to work. |

I've had major issues the last 2 days playing videos; I can usually stream 1080p (with the occasional slowdown), but now I can't even stream SD without major stuttering, much less even attempt the HD resolutions. Other sites (like Youtube) stream perfectly.
I've tried on 2 systems; my laptop (which I usually use) and my hard-wired quad-core desktop; I've tried multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE9) too I get about 20Mbps during primetime (45ms ping from the video server, no packetloss), and have tried the videos early in the morning to the same effect. Wierd; I realized I was using OpenDNS on both sytems; switched to my ISP's server and the video loaded (unless it was a hell of a coincidence)...
I'll test out a few shows and see what happens |

Can you try going into options and turning off 'Resume Video Playback' and checking / unchecking the box next to 'Load Preview Images'? |

Typo at 14:35 in Polar Bear Cafe episode 8. "It'd be great if we catch get a lot." ---> "It'd be great if we catch a lot."

I've been having the black screen issue for the month or two I've had this app, on my Android LS670 (Sprint network, but I'm only using our fast, stable wireless router, Suddenlink cable internet), OS version 2.3.3. It often takes up to eight or ten tries for the episode to load in less than one full minute of waiting on a black screen.
Though now, I'm also having a much worse issue: The yellow section on the play-bar only goes up a few minutes (or more recently, seconds), rather quickly... Then it doesn't go up any further... And then finally, it suddenly fills up the whole play-bar, as if it thinks it buffered the entire video. But then when the play-slider hits the point where the buffering had previously frozen, the video just suddenly stops and it returns to the episode summary, as if the episode was over. I tried several series, from old to new, and they're all doing it (at least: Episode 82 of Gintama plus several before that, Kids on the Slope episode 5, and Hayate no Gotoku episode 1. They all work fine on the PC version of the site. And a minor but still sometimes angering problem: Most of the Gintama episodes so far have bad sync issues; the audio gets up to between one to two seconds late gradually over the course of the episodes. Some seem ok, but most get pretty bad. Once again, not an issue on the PC version. But I'm ill and need to lie down a lot, so I really need this to work better on my Droid. |

dear crunchyroll, can you guys please add a configurable buffer in video settings?, i want to buffer atleast 25% of the video before it plays to avoid stuttering, and it would be nice to have a option to chose what location the video should come from, if your in europe sometimes a different europe server will work better than the automatic one

Hello
For a while now I've been having syncing issues between the picture and the audio. At some point in watching whatever episode, the sync between the video and audio becomes too disconnected to continue watching.
