I'll try logging in and out a few more times. On my end, I've tried ipconfig/release and renew and flushdns on the command program(cmd.exe), I've also deleted my history, cookies, etc on Internet Explorer. Try powering off your cable or DSL modem for about 5-20 minutes, which hopefully will be long enough it will be assigned a new IP address. That has worked for a couple of other people that have had this problem recently. You can verify if you've been assigned a new IP address by vistiing a site like IP Chicken before you turn off you modem and again afterward, to confirm if the IP addresses displayed each time are different. I tried it today; still got the same IP address. I changed my IPv4 address in addition to that but that didn't do anything. Edit: I tried accessing CR via iPod Touch, CR Region Detection shows that I am in Germany there as well. Doesnt' every device(laptop, mobile device) has their own IP address? I'm after our Ops guy to do an update to our Global IP list as well. Apologies this is being a hassle. Still no luck, my membership/subscription is about to expire, I don't see a reason for renewing my membership/subscription, this problem really did spring up at the wrong time too since Nakaimo - My Little Sister is Among Them was just announced on Crunchyroll in addition to the some newly released anime. As a last ditch effort, can CR correct this error specifically as in manually redirect my IP address to the US region or something of that matter. I really don't want to end my membership/subscription but CR will be of little use to me if this error persist. |

Pardon my brief return to this thread, but I wanted to share an epic fix I pulled with my shoddy network speeds.
The following android app, which requires rooting your phone, managed to boost my speeds to where I've no more buffer issues, and actually increased my download speed to 7x what it was! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=provision.netspeed.optimizer&hl=en Again, requires your phone to be rooted to work. Anyone who doesn't know what rooting is (or values their phone warranty) might have to steer clear and just stick to hopping on wifi hotspots where possible. So now I can go enjoy my lunch at Subway while checking out the new Summer anime titles. Good times again! |

To clarify, when you say "rebooted", do you mean that you simply restarted your computer, or do you mean something more, such as re-installing the operating system? The reason I ask is that while I know some people keep their system on 24/7, meaning rebooting only once in two weeks would not be unusual, but I also know people sometimes use the incorrect terminology. Is Crunchyroll the only site that uses Flash video that you are experiencing a problem with (i.e., are YouTube, Hulu, etc. working without problem)? FYI, Netflix uses Silverlight, not Flash, so it working fine would not necessarily be relevant. |

Youtube works fine as well as other websites with video. |

CR often advises people to try changing their DNS to something different if they have streaming issues. If you had that done before, re-installing Windows would have wiped out those settings. You can click on the orange links to see the instructions for either service to change your DNS to use that service. (CR typically recommends Google Public DNS if you are in North America). |
