Anybody having issues watching CR on Mac? I've posted a question about this, but in the wrong forum! It's been iffy, showing black where the video should be. Mac uses Safari. Any advice? I'd try the different resolutions, nothing. I travel with my Mac, so that's why I'm concerned. Any advice out there? I can still see it on my PC, it's just that I like to be able to use it on all my devices.

In the last month or so, I'm finding videos are stuttering every few seconds and it's pissing me off. I even had the plugin-container process at REALTIME and gave it two cores and had stuttering on 720P (which didn't happen before), 480P and a few times at SD (360P).
Operating System (OS) you are using. Windows 7 Home Premium -64bit Web Browser and version number you are using. Firefox 18 Beta (This also happened in Firefox 17) Version of Flash you are using. 11,5,502,135 Processor Type. AMD A10-4655M APU (Quad-core) Processor Speed. 2.00 GHz Graphics Card Type. AMD Radeon HD 7620G (embedded, 512MB VRAM) Amount or RAM. 5.5GB Amount of free space on your C: or OS partition. Over 200GB. If my computer can handle Crysis plus a bunch of other processes running at the same time, why the hell can't it handle a flash video? |

Let's see if we can get a closer one by changing your DNS. You can find complete instructions on how to change your DNS by using OpenDNS.com's (https://store.opendns.com/setup/) all encompasing guide. I would try this first, as their servers are only in the USA and Europe. If this doesn't seem to help, you can try Google's Public DNS (https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/). Please let me know if this helps |

Is anyone having problems playing 4:3 aspect videos(early bleach & naruto) on 16:9 aspect displays fullscreen. I am using Firefox with the latest flash on linux (11.2) and tried Google Chrome 23. Both stretch the video. on my system. YouTube videos play fine that are 4:3.
Any Ideas? |

Recently moved to a new place, and I can no longer watch any videos for longer than 5-15 seconds before it stops in an attempt to buffer more. It really struggles to load more after it has stopped, stopping for seconds at a time before playing a fraction of a second. this applies to 1080p as well as SD. (including working fine for a few seconds before stopping.)
Reinstalling flash doesn't help, clearing the cache/history/cookies doesn't help, using a different browser doesn't help, logging out doesn't help... None of the tests show any problems with speed, ping or routing that i can discern (the server was surprisingly local), and now I'm running out of ideas, lol. ![]() ![]() Spoiler Alert! While I've never had linux, don't know what graphics card you have and haven't been able to reproduce the problem on windows...
Could you try to go in your graphics card settings and see if the scaling mode is set to full screen? If it is, could you try to set the scaling mode to aspect ratio to keep your aspect ratio when you enter fullscreen and see if that helps? Even if it doesn't help for your video, it would at least prevent stretching on 4:3 ratio games, lol. (Some terms might be Nvidia-specific. >_<; ) |

I downgraded it and everything work as expected. Will notify nvidia. Thanks |
