I was going through some pretty brutal buffer. Although I usually watch videos on 1080, even on SD It constantly paused.
Being that Ive never had problems before, I wondered if it was a high server load on the CR side.
However, I think I just found out that it was a problem with Google DNS. Reverted to my default DNS, and everything seems to be working perfectly.

If you are having problems try disabling google dns if you are using it. I'm curious if it resolves anyone elses problems. Could be a problem on google's side.

Ok long story short. I can't get the PS3 app to work. All it does is just buffer and buffers for minutes at a time. Than it moves about 3 seconds. It started on Friday. I didn't try Saturday or Sunday, but it has gotten worse. It buffers and than tries to skip right to the next episodes. Normally I had no problem on whatever setting it was on the basic PS3 app.

So I tried my PC and it worked fine all the way through a 480p with 0 buffering. Nor did it try randomly to skip to the next episode. So it's only a problem on my PS3 for right now.

While I was travelling I noticed that I had no issues at all, so I figured out which IP address the domain name was resolving to and recorded it.

Go to watch something tonight, get the problems, edit my hosts file to point to the IP I recorded, plays perfect.

Weird thing is I switched back to test, and now it's resolving to some completely different IP address, which also seems to be working better.

A little more testing back and forth with the IP I got while travelling and the IPs I get with my ISP DNS and the one I got from travelling hasn't stuttered on me once.

So I'll use that one for now

Glad to hear you've found an IP that's working for you!
Can you tell me what it is so I can add it to my list of addresses?

My video issues had been a lot better the last month or so, until today. I watched the latest Hunter X Hunter episode, without issue, and then went to catch up on Space Brothers, and was trying to watch episode ep. 46. It was immediatly unwatchable, the video only playing a few seconds before stuttering or freezing. The standard troubleshooting info is below:

So I tried Google public DNS and got a different server. This one worked fine.

The difference is negligible but the working servers seem worse than the bad ones. The working servers seem to be located near Englewood, CO and the bad ones Herndon, VA. I'm in Ohio so the working ones are quite a bit further away. I've noticed other times I've had issues here that the servers geolocation seems to be in Herndon so maybe there is an issue there.

I don't consider randomly changing DNS servers a fix. I run my own, redundant, DNS resolvers that cache from the root DNS servers. They are pretty much default resolver configurations, one running BIND the other Unbound, so I very highly doubt there is an issue there though I am open to any specific suggestions where they may not be. I've also had plenty of issues when testing Google public DNS so I really doubt it's a DNS issue at all.

I've been having similar issues off and on since I became a subscriber and that was day one of your legitimate subscription service. This is getting very frustrating. I hope you can get it resolved soon or I will not be renewing next year.

weeeelll, is anyone else having problems with the PS3 browser? the only reason I don't use the ps3 app is because it doesn't have full screen. is there a way to use full screen with the app? I want to watch naruto shippuden by the way.

Our Ops team has recently tripled in size (It is now 3 engineers).
This is something I'm planning on talking with them about once the two new guys have settled a bit more.

We do not support the PS3 browser.
It runs an ancient version of Flash. Sorry. :/
