bump from months ago, this crap still happens. currently trying to (re-)watch nichijou 21 and boy is it painful.... like 1/5x rt with so many pauses. You'd think some clear answer would be available now. Or some analysis or something, seriously higher someone and find the problem.

In the mean time, hmm, what's this daisuki.net ... I wonder if they're having problems playing stuff like crunchy does... Perhaps I should stop paying crunchy and go to them instead, hm?

All I know is it'd be nice to get SOME information on this issue...
if its not resolved by the end of this month for me I'll no longer be a CR supporter.

Right now I have NetFlix and it streams without any issue what so ever.

Everything they have at the moment every episode they have (which isn't much) is free, so why not give it a try? You'll likely only get one ad every several episodes, as that is what most people have reported and I experienced.

It would do you good to experience streaming from a service that has an infrastructure that is a lot closer to that of CR than the juggernaut that is Netflix (which has 150 times as many paid subscribers).

The point is that they are not really finding what the problem is and engineering a way around it. All you get is a "we're looking into it" and the unsubstantiated belief that it's the CDN's fault. So isolate the problem and adapt or at least post analyzation of it. 1/150th of a large number is still a large number which means they have some muscle to flex to fix/engineer something.

I'm getting real sick of the runaround too. Using the report video problem link is a joke too. The best I've gotten from that is an email telling me to try a different DNS and post a traceroute using that. I did and that was the last I heard. Today I had to run nslookup using 4 different DNS servers before I found a CDN server that was at least watchable, the rest would not even play for a second without stuttering. I have a shortcut to editing my hosts file. WTF does it take? Skip a few cons and spend the booth fees and travel expenses on someone who can figure it out, the current staff either is not capable or doesn't care.

Crunchyroll is unusable right now for me, tried a few different series and almost constant stuttering.

It's funny, I ran the speedtest during playback and I get 100Mbp/s, like Crunchyroll wasn't even using any bandwidth, very weird.

I too am once again experiencing playback problems with this site. I cancelled my membership the last time this happened, but signed back up once the problems were fixed. It looks like it might be time to do that again.

It's gotten to the point where I can't even watch a full episode of anything at 1080p anymore. Video either completely stops (acts like it's the end, when it's not even close), or freezes and doesn't start back up again.

Operating System (OS) you are using: Mac OSX 10.8.3
Web Browser and version number you are using: Chrome Version 27.0.1453.93
Version of Flash you are using: Flash 11.7.700.203
Processor Type: Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 2.5 Ghz
Graphics Card Type: AMD Radeon HD 6630M 256 MB
Amount or RAM: 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Amount of free space on your C: or OS partition: 161.71 GB

I guess it could be my... Graphics Card or something to do with upload speed maybe? :\

Getting the same issue with 480, 720, 1080p videos. It'll randomly start buffering when throughput to the CDN looks fine, either that or it'll just randomly stop altogether

This is the only site I ever get buffering problems on. Switching DNS server's isn't an answer to the problem as it then breaks every other site that uses CDN for content delivery

Lately it's been impossible to watch any quality videos at times it will either skip ahead, stop or rebuffer every 5-10 seconds throughout the video. (Already done DNS server change to Google like it was recommended here on the forums).
Note: i have no problems viewing other streaming websites.

I don't know where your server's are located so i don't know where i should do the speedtest and ping but other then that i have solid 10/1 even in Chicago and i live in Norway.

My computer is fully capable for this, i did not have any issues with this site before now, i just saw BTOOM and it stopped at 18min in the episode and this has happen'd from the beginning of the series.

My PC spec is, Win7 Pro 64bit, Intel 3770 ivy brigde, GTX 690 (with PCI3.0 motherboard) , 16RAM and SSD.

I have try'd to flush DNS, cache of chrome and flash, i even downloaded flash and installed it since i did not have it since Chrome has it build in, anyway that did not fix the problem.

Anyone have something for me?

No, nothing makes a diff. Not switching dns, not changing router settings, or even ISP's.

For a while now I've been starting out in 1080p and switching to 720p when the 1080 stream starts to act up, but lately even the 720 stream has started stuttering and freezing.

It's total bullshit.

No reason for it.

And no support worth a damn.
