what i mean by classic is an anime that in your eyes never gets old that way when others see this thread they will know the essential animes that they should own/watch okand like i said earlier please write at least 1 sentence on why its a classic thanks
oh also thanks kyocool this a good example of a what i mean by classic

i think for me what determines a classic is no matter how many times you watch it you always feel the exact same emotions @ the exact same time as you did the first time seeing it. I think good examples of this (for me anyhow) are Cowboy bebop and EVA

I go to this set that does anime awards. There are six diffrent anime awards, and a bunch of cartgoryes for each. Altough it is a forum i can kinda agree with them as good anime. I mean i agree with most expect there honey clover i cant agree with that. Take a look and it will give you alittle more idea on what good anime for that year was. http://forum.anime-reactor.net/viewtopic.php?t=13803 I would post the 2005 but i dont agree with it at all. It was something not towards the view on what has the ablitly to become a classic. When you think of a classic it shouldnt be a view on how much you enjoy it that just makes it one of your favorites and not a classic. It should be more of a view on the catergorys and how it compares to the other anime.

Tokyo Underground...or vise versa. This anime has got element users and a pretty good storyline. It's about another civilization underground. (Title seems self explanitory)

Uta Kata- I liked due to ever time the character changes uniforms..they are each drawn by a different artist. Probably about it. Up to you if you wanna watch it.

Kumo no Mukou - Yakusoku no Basho
This anime was different. Its about a girl who is connected to other dimensions of the world and if she ever woke up the whole world would be destroyed. Its one of those animes that could be put on one DVD kinda deal.

KARAS- thought the company only released 3 episodes before discontinuing it. It is a well made anime. Fight scenes are really good in this one. Story line and potential is all there, just that another company needs to pick it up and finish it. The main character is a doctor with a mysterious white haired girl trying to stop a man who, I think, has gone mad. No info can be found about this anime from animenfo. I don't know if any other anime info site has info on this. But the 3 episodes are out. It ends at a hype of the anime so don't get too disappointed when you finish watching it and want more, because there isnt anymore until the other company, who picked it up, releases more.

Oh kewl....The other translation I got for it was Beyond the Clouds- The promise Place

For yours what part is what cause im kind of lost as to how its placed in the wording...direct translation wise I mean....like...In our early days- Promised place? or something? was just wondering. If its not too much trouble.

Another question is why is it separated if its one long phrase cause couldn't they have just put Kumo no Mukou Yakusoku no Basho for that? idk

i dunno, im not really sure about the translation myself, but i've also up'd voices of a distant star which the guy who created Kumo no Mukou also made.
