Not really.
I like Dubstep, Requiem, and a lot of Japanese types of musics. If anyone says anything to me about it, I'm just like "Oh? I didn't know that I was supposed to give any ****s from my empty **** bank." :3

All the time, but it really doesn't bother me. I' d rather listen to 90's alternative and British pop and have them make fun of me for it than listen to rap and whatever category you would put Justin Beiber and Rihanna and Katy Perry in and be accepted for it.

Lol this topic.
I'm always and forever questioned.
Some have the same liking for K-Pop and are okay there but not my J-Rock side.
Every single last person in this place questions me about it because it's "strange & weird" to them.
So I like J-Rock and I live in the States, why is that wrong.
Just because I don't listen to the mainstream American music like everyone else does, I'm considered an outsider.
Thanks. I'll be an outsider with pride then. (^___^)v

Sometimes. All my friends listen to rap or hip hop, and I listen to mostly indie or alternative.

My friend, who listens to NOTHING but Eminem or Afroman, puts one of my headphones in his ear, and I was blasting Modest Mouse. And he's like "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

... No one I know will truly appreciate good music.

No one really makes fun of the music I listen to. I mean, J-Core has great beats; Classical Music always sounds nice (even some of the avant-guarde compositions); Metal is always good for a work out. I don't get much negative feed back from people I know.

Some. Yeaaah. Like, seriously, they need to open their mind and realize that not everyone likes what they like or hates what they hate.

98% of my playlist sends anyone who hears it running. Then something like Free Bird, White Rabbit, Rasputin comes on and their all "Oh I love that song! Turn it up!"

"Screw that!"

*Changes it to the loudest J-Pop on the entire list and blasts it out the car window*

AMERICA!

I listen to a variety of music, ranging from the olden days rock with Elvis, to British rock bands like T-Rex, to K-Pop and western songs. I sometimes get teased for listening to the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, but I know the teasing is all in good heart I don't really care that they make fun of my music taste.

Yes, and it annoys the hell out of me. So when I got into high school I just stopped telling people about it.
