What classic game ranging from the NES all the way to the gamecube would you like to see make a return? Why would you like this particular game to return?
Mine would have to be Mario Golf. I would love to see a Mario Golf 2 using Wii Motion Plus and online play. I was always a fan of Mario Golf. I remember playing 4 players on the Nintendo 64 and the Gamecube and having all of us trying to beat each other. It was fun to play alone but when you got a group together it was a blast. It really needed an online competition though.

I'm one of those people who would really like to see Kid Icarus return. Would be interesting to see it move into the 3-D world, but still keep the unique gameplay elements (as well as the challenge too).

If we are talking about bringing old classics and re-inventing them as new games or sequels on the Wii, I would like a true successor to the Donkey Kong Country games. That series was probably my favorite one on the SNES back then and I remember playing it a lot with family and friends.
On the non-Nintendo side, I would be happy if Nintendo would re-release Harvest Moon 64 for virtual console.

Well, looks like I got my wish for a successor to the DKC games on Wii. The only thing I haven't seen in the trailer are barrels that we can throw/chuck and any of the animal friends that we can ride/use like Squawk the parrot. I loved spitting out those eggs in DKC 2. I'll remain hopeful for the game though with Retro behind it.

There is one game I would like to see make a comeback would be Area 88, had a load of fun with that back on the SNES and would be nice if Capcom got a hold of the licence once again and re-released it or even updated it for the Wii.

personally i would want then to remake the classic Goldeneye 007, well i know now they are planning to, but it's way different from what i remember it, i would want it just like the perfect dark XBLA remake where it was the same game, but enhanced with modern graphics so, they could revive it for the fans.

Only through Castlevania HD on 360 do I now want it translated: Getsu Fuma Den from the Famicom. The premise and gameplay look like my cup of tea.

Agreed with Brains7, Earthbound, shit the whole Mother series/ Earthbound series would be nice. Preferably all three of them.
I heard the reason they didn't put it on was because of the effects in Mother 2/Earthbound. Lots of lights, flashes, and with epilepsy, or seizures, whatever it was, they would have to highly edit it. Surprised it wasn't the game content that stopped it...Creeeeeeeepy...
