I'm very sorry to say this but plz tell me how you like that series, I sort of hate it. "Negima - Magister Negi Magi"(?) is the most unmeasurable harem combined with absurd magical-fantasy battles, mixed with the long texts to read, and I also can't relate to any of the characters. Plz tell me why you find this popular shonen manga "best of 2010".

well, I love the story line it's pretty cool and the fight scenes are pretty awesome... and i love the characters they're all over the place... the manga's pretty funny too i love ecchi comedies they get me lol'in... plus the story itself is pretty touching and whatnot... the characters are super diverse which adds a lil somethin for everyone and its not like the girls are pushovers they fight too so its not a stereotypical man saves the day thing... although Negi is easily the most powerful of them all and they have to all deal with their own emotional/relationship problems and whatnot... no ALL of the characters like Negi some are for Kotarou... it makes it a lil less ridiculous... all the character developement in it is perty good the art is good... but it's not ALL flowers and sunshine... there's dark overtones throughout the manga as well which adds a serious edge... and the developement from just ecchi comedy and magic to battle scenes as well brought somethin to it... most harem ecchi comedies just stay that way and have a couple emotional breakthrough episodes before stopping or w/e... and yeah... that's pretty much why i like Negima >.>

how about fullmetal alchemist?? this is by far, one of the greatest anime i've ever watched.
the manga finished recently, so i think i'll read it when the 2nd season ends.
