It could end up a happy ending like in your case or you can lose that person in your life. ITs a big gamble.

LOOL. I instantly assumed you meant same sex best friends.
I'm sure that's still possible, but the thought of me and my best friend is hilariously retarded. I would go as far as to say we are rather homophobic. :3

theres no law saying you cant. its just like my friends rule tho. she doesnt fall in love with her friends b/c she doesnt want to create an awkward relationship if something does happen between her and the friend. but ummm anyone can fall in love with each other (with few restrictions [?]), so if two best friends fall in love with each other they either let it be or do what my friend does to avoid an opening in a relationship.

Yes, but most try to ignore it out of fear of losing their best friend if things don't go right. However once you get married, your husband or wife pretty much becomes your best friend, because you share a closeness a friend can never share with you. You may very well grow distant from the friends you once had, because you no longer have time for them, especially if they are married as well. So trade one for another, but still treasure your old friends as if they were priceless.

Being best friends and falling in love typically ends in unrequited love for the other due to friendship being innocent affection until both people decide on taking it to that next level.

Many movies actually depict how bestrfriends, because of their closeness eventually fall in love with other. Can this happen in real life? What's your say?... Feel free to comment...

Yes, but movies are scripted, it's all supposed to happen, this is real life, IMO, once your in the friend/best friend zone, you will never get in a relationship with your friend/best friend.

EDIT : I believe byousoku 5 cm can explain why it may sometimes never work?
