Yes, but most try to ignore it out of fear of losing their best friend if things don't go right. However once you get married, your husband or wife pretty much becomes your best friend, because you share a closeness a friend can never share with you. You may very well grow distant from the friends you once had, because you no longer have time for them, especially if they are married as well. So trade one for another, but still treasure your old friends as if they were priceless.
