I'd say being kind has nothing to do with relationships. You're not doing a favour to others, you're pursuing your own happiness, or at least you should.

Why not? It's highly possible!  I mean, you're probably best friends because you can connect well with each other and understand what the other is usually feeling and thinking, so being together as a couple is pretty much the exact same thing + heavy petting. Lol. |

The younger you are the higher the the possibly, the older you get you realize Girlfriends are much easier to come by than a best friend so most wont risk that relationship.

Of the very few girlfriends that I have had, only one of them was not considered one of my "best friends" at the point we started dating. Even now, I can only like girls that I consider my closest friends. It's because you can't fall in love without knowing anything about the person, and you have to at least be friends to make that kind of connection, and best friends have a high possibility of forming that kind of connection.

Hey im wondering... i think one of my friends (girl) likes me, but I sure hope not, cuz i dont feel the same and if we would be to date...I... its weird... me dating her... and think I might have feelings for her friend.
But again maybe that's delusional, but if it does happen, should I try? or just stay with my happiness?
