It's possible, but in my opinion unlikely. Especially with childhood friends. I see my child hood friend more as a sister (btw no imouto-moe for me). I know thats the same for a lot of people I'm friends with. Now best friends are different. A lot of the times you don't see them go through that awkward pubescent stage and makes them seem more attractive for it. In my opinion people who 'married there best friend' predominately become friends after marriage or after they started dating.

I dated my best female friend, had I not had to move away, we'd be married by now. Such is life, I suppose.

Anything is possible if both parties are hot and horny. Also, friendship love is a lot more lasting than romantic love.

Definitely! But it does create some tension. My best guy friend told me he started liking me but he didn't want to tell me because he knows I didn't like him that way so he just started ignoring me. It's hard if you guys are so close then starts liking each other.

It happens, but not all the time. I mean, I know a couple in my school that used to be best friends, and now they're a cute couple. ^___^

It could happen, but it would depend on the person. One of them might be falling deeply in love with their best friend, but they hide it because of the possibility that it could ruin their friendship. Seen it many times, some do stick with each other, and others just drift apart. sad. but true.

To answer the question: Yes, friends really do fall in love with eachother. As cliched as it sounds, it happens.

I have nothing against it, and in all honesty; I think it's amazing when it does. It's pretty wonderful.

Many movies actually depict how bestrfriends, because of their closeness eventually fall in love with other. Can this happen in real life? What's your say?... Feel free to comment...

You should try it with your best friend and then come back and share your successes/failures on it.

I actually think you are more likely to fall for a best friend than just another person. I always make a point in becoming friends with someone before I start dating them. And my two ex boyfriends were both, once, my best friend. However, I have to say, perhaps it is not the smartest idea to date a best friend. Once you start dating and cross a certain line, it becomes really hard to be just "friends" with that person again. Things are usually never the same, which makes certain things quite depressing. :/ All in all, dating or falling for a best friend is totally possible. Usually unavoidable too. lol

It happened to me, i fell for my best friend hard but due to certain circumstances she was put in foster care in an unknown location. looking back, there were hints that she possibly liked me ( like getting really close and looking me in the eyes or when we were sitting next to each other on and empty couch she would sit really close etc.). ever since then I've remained alone, and i recently found her we talked for awhile but she stopped talking to me (i think its because i remind her of her past too much). so yes you can fall for a best friend i just wish i would have acted sooner.

mnnn, in my case.. If I hang out with a guy too much I get this uhhm, its not really a crush or love but... its like I want him to be closer to me and what not.

there is this trio in my class and I call them "The tree idiots" I consider them as my family and we hang out a lot and there is this guy I call little bro, the other two is my big bro and my mom (yeah mom, even tho he's a dude), we hang out a lot, and I kinda like him I guess?

I don't see why not. It may or may not be as magical as the movies depict. Who knows? Life is funny and spontaneous.

I think that it is possible but definitely hard because u know each other so well before dating and if anything goes wrong in the relationship it could be very awkward......
