Generally if someone is your best friend, they become your husband / wife. if you are mature.

relationships don't get much better than being best friends. Friend Zone concepts are silly things that exist in the minds of immature people who don't want anything to change ever.

Yes, very much so. (^__^)v
It's love, and the person is your best friend.
I don't see why not.
I mean it'd probably be more expected than questioned.

When you get married the person you marry SHOULD be your best friend.

I 100% agree. If you don't consider your mate to be your best friend then what other foundation are you laying your marriage or any other committed relationship on? Bedsides physical attraction anyway...

It's hard to have close friends that are girls if your a guy and not have issues if you have girlfriend. So usually that friendship will end when one or the other gets with someone else because either its too hard to watch them date someone else or the other person they are with forbids them from handing out with you anymore. Therefor, either you confess that you like this person early on and see where that takes you or you loose that chance. It's sad sometime down the road you might meet up again and hit it off and get married but these cases are rare and normally only happen in anime fun to dream though.

Of course they can, what kind of stupid question is that? Best friends or not, they're still human.

I think it can. I think it did once between a friend and I, but shit hit the fan and it changed our relationship greatly. Where we use to talk every day and I'd text him a 'good morning/night' all the time; it's now come down to where I'll text him every now and then. Sometimes he answers and sometimes he doesn't. Luckily he's with a great girl now, admittedly I'm jealous, but she at least makes him happy.

I like this. I really dislike the negativity around the "friendzone". Only selfish, egotistical people find negativity in that. And when they do find it negative, then that person truly doesn't deserve to be your partner.

In my case, I have two bestfriends. Both guys. One of them became my boyfriend for a while, but we broke up for a personal reason. But it wasn't a bad break up. We were on good terms and we still remain good friends. We're just waiting for the right time.
The other guy on the other hand is the one I friendzoned. But what's nice about him is that he didn't display any bitterness and actually enjoys being there. Of course he wishes that I choose him, but at least we still talk a lot and hang out a lot.

See cause I'm the type who values friendship over romance. So even if I have to reject a guy, and offer friendship, I make sure he feels valuable as he truly is. It's just up to the guy to accept it.
