Sure they can, then they get married and live happily together for several years before getting a divorce

So you're saying that we'll get divorced?

No no silly, we didn't become best friends, we just fell straight in love. So we're in the clear

Boys don't often become "just friends" with women.

Can't anybody fall in love with anyone?

Maybe I'm behind the times or something.

I think it's really possible for best friends to fall in love with each other!Maybe it's due to the fact that they feel comfortable with each other.In most cases a best friend knows "another side" of the other so he/she know how to handle a difficult situation that concerns this person...
but sometimes it can really hurt...

Of course they can. I see it happen all of the time. The tricky part is having to make sure that above everything else, nothing will get in the way of the friendship you share that made you fall in love in the first place.

Yes. I experienced it twice. My two best guy friends fell for me and I had to reject them. And now I'm in a bad relationship with both of them.
It just sucks to say to the people you love that you love them but you're not in love with them. If that even makes sense.

Simple you just tell them that you like them and all but you're not ready to go steady or commit to a relationship and that you just like to stay as friends. Yeah sure whatever they may not like what they're hearing but guess what? That's life.

That's what I did. And now, none of us is talking to each other. I learned my lesson. And that is, to be friends with guys that you are interested in. I think. xD;;

Well it also works the other way; be friends with people who actually want friends or want to be friends.

it only happens if you going through depression and the only person you can talk to is your best friend.. then your hormones do some science stuff to make you love your friend......... most people that end up loving their friends are hoe's and cheaters and liars though and they ruin the bond they had and the circle that you and your best friend were in because u in love now and you can't tease in the circle or anything or joke about perverted things or anything...
