In one stuff, I prefer both. Non of my watched animes I haven't had their mangas.

But sometime I may confuse in the story between anime and manga (Elfen Lied is an obviously example).

Manga. No fillers. I hate fillers, and I'll always do.

Like Chobits. There are many beautiful art scenes in the manga that could never be in an anime. Although, the manga only has 8 volumes and the anime has many, many more ( Around 30 if you count the ones not released in America)

especally on this point I agree whole heartedly, but, it is entirely dependent on the makers for the anime/manga

Wow. Shows why England sucks at getting accurate data.
Anime is obviously loved by the dominant majority.

But the most people always talk about that the manga is always better because of the uncut scenes and dialogue.

To be honest, I prefer manga. Always. It's cheap and portable. Also, Manga is almost always superior than the animated version. Examples include Evangelion, Devilman and Eyeshield 21. Some manga are so holy that it has never or shall never be turned into mere anime such as Kozure Okami (Lone Wolf and Cub) or Golgo 13 (which has a few OAVs, but thank God never a series). Don't get me wrong, I like anime but I rather spend more money on manga.

Anime for the fight scenes def! And as my favourite anime \ manga \ whatever are the ones with the best fight scenes, I love the anime more.

Just starting to realise how new this website is... but at least there are some old posts that I can post on to get my points up. Think I'll have to start one of my own sometime soon though... getting to that point of my CR life...

haha "CR life..."

I prefer the manga more - the anime tends to skim over the major parts of the story and clip it to so that it _fits_ into their episode quota and the detail tends to get lost in the animating. Plus, like Sanzo stated, they're portable and less costly [$10-15 VS. $30!]

Depends on the story. I really love the Hellsing anime, but I don't like the manga that much. And if it's like Fruit's Basket where the story continues in the manga, but not in the anime, I prefer the manga. And if the manga is very long I watch the anime, because thats simpler.
If the story is different from one to another, I think thats more fun. Like how the FLCL manga is totally different than the anime. So it's kinda different from one serie to another.
