Crunchyroll is ultimately a community of people, from a multitude of nations and cultural upbringings. To understand Crunchyroll in a historical sense, we should also seek to understand the people that power the community.

So enter a personal log whenever you feel like it, while I'll be writing up a more detailed guideline for this later, try to encompass these principles.
-Thoughts on the site
-Personal Experience on the site.
-Just some random thoughts and feeling on self and events happening on the site
- Dating each post, and keeping it readable.

Under construction.

Sounds like a cool idea. Can you also add an example, so everyone will get used to the format. Also is there a length restriction?

A well-thought post but your rules aren't encouraging users to contribute to this thread.Jorl. I concede there should be some principles governing any user's input but too many rules would kill creativity. What actually is your goal for this thread? If it is to get people to share experiences, then allow them to express themselves freely without grammatical restriction. Have you taken into consideration users who aren't native speakers of English?

basically its true. people wrotewhen they feel to. tied with some regulations and guides will affect their writing, though the giudes are helpful. btw here is totally used by people around the world and english is well accepted as the global language but there are some/more users who really dont understand well when we write in english.
but its great if there is a place to xpress our oppinion then.

im juz using cr so im new here and this site is great..
btw seem there are lots of changes happen...
but some is quite mysterious..for example items..
wat actually they are?
some things is not well described here...
and rules are not followed strictly and i see some users are using porn avi even making a porn group.

I thought I would give this post a shot. So here goes.

Thoughts on the site

This is an continues to be one of the best organized sites for anime around. They are easy to find and look up. The evolution of this site over the last year has been particularily fasincating. Shinji has put a lot of work into it so that its enjoyable for the users. The contacts he has made with the various studios and posting their material legitimately is an impressive feet. I also like using this site because there isn't a lot of needless superflous stuff. It's stay focused on why it was created in the first place and improved apon that focus. I've only been here for 9 months but I've noticed the improvements.

Personal Experiences

I've had a lot of positive experiences using this site. For one thing I've watched so really great anime. More importantly, I've made some really good friends over the last year for all over the world. Its fun chatting with people who live in different places and hearing what their days been like. I've learned about different countries and cultures through my contacts. For example I've learn about the rich and interesting culture of the Philippines through some of my friends here. One of the more negative experiences I've had though is when a person I've been chatting with nukes their profile, it's a little sad suddenly not being able to chat with someone.

Random Thoughts.
I think one of the most positive things that has come out of this whole experience is that I've started writing and posting in a group here at CR. I been wanting to write for a while but was having trouble getting motivated. Then one of my buddies invited me to join there small writing group here and it's been great. It has given me a chance to write something fictional, created a character and have it read by a small audience.

I really do think what Shinji did y going legit was the right move, I'm sort of repeating myself but really, it allows the anime companies to make money and gives the users better access to the anime and other stuff. Stuff won't be taken down any more because its licensed.
