You know how Orochimaru wanted to be Immortal, why didnt he join Jashinism like Hidan, that way he gets to kill people and stay Immortal.

And i would've loved to see Hidan and Orichimaru team up. Lol

P.S I love Hidan. :-)

Well, Masashi made a mistake creating Hidan then (no offense). cause orochimaru had hideouts all over the shinobi world. it's just impossible he doesn't know about Jashin

What do you mean see the Jashinism thing, you mean you wanna be a jashinist, if so google it and try 2 find info about it, even though i dont think its a religion that exsists. But why do u wanna join such religion? is it because u like Hidan? but let me tell you something, there is no point joining a religion if you dont believe in it. plus it doesnt make sense, i hope that helped.

OH Lol :-), Am rly sry i misunderstood. Well in the Anime or The Manga, there arent any episodes or chapters, that chat about Jashinism Especifically, all we see is Hidan Doing his rituals and perfoming these wierd Ceremonies. According to Hidan, expects that all followers of Jashin - so named "Jashinists" - bring nothing less than utter destruction and death. Hidan always used to pray to Jashin before a fight, asking for a "good kill." If he is unsuccessful, or is not allowed to kill, he prays for forgiveness.

as you already know, when undergoing a sacrifice, Hidan changes appearance after ingesting his opponent's blood. His skin turns black with white markings representing a skeleton, a symbol of absolute death. He draws Jashin's symbol in the ground in his own blood and stands in the center. This symbol is an equilateral circumscribed triangle (an upside down triangle with a circle around it). Once his sacrificial ritual takes place, the victim can be considered dead unless Hidan either steps or is forced out of the circle. Any kind of pain that Hidan inflicts upon himself is inflicted upon his sacrifice, be it a mere scratch or a pierce in the heart. This is called "Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood."

Hidan is the "successful experiment of the Jashin religion's secret jutsu", which makes him become immortal. He uses this advantage to otherwise fatally injure himself while he is linked to his opponent in order to kill them.

Retrieved from "http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Jashin"

P.S Hidan is not really immortal, if he does no performe a ritual in 28 days he becomes mortal, then he can die. Masashi said Hidan is still alive, but will die soon, from lack of nutrition or something. once again, i hope that helped. See Ya :-)

Heh, I can imagine Orochimaru in afterlife hearing about Hidan who was blown to bits by Shikamaru and still be alive and thinking: "Dammit, why didn't I think of that?!"
