Fairy Tail: Lucy Theories (Spoilers be here, ye be warned)

With the Most recent episode there is a strong likelihood that there is a connection between Lucy and the Dragon Slayers, at the very least one between her mother and the Dragons.

Like one of my favorite Anime characters tends to say "there are no coincidences, there is only fate"

The date of her mother's death and the disappearance of the dragons are probably not a coincidence.


So the questions are

What is the Connection?

and, What will it mean for Lucy's future development?


I have 2 theories of my own but I'm betting plenty of people have other theories and I'd like to hear them.

for my own
Theory 1) Lucy's mom was a dragon. This is probably the most obvious theory. So what does that make Lucy? Could she be a Dragon Slayer herself, or maybe a Half dragon with some unique abilities? Lucy has been shown as having abilities beyond those of other Celestial Summoners, her heritage may be the reason for this



Theory 2) Lucy's mom was a Dragon Summoner. This would require the Dragons to be similar to the Celestial Spirits that Lucy summons, though clearly with a different set of rules as none of them hang around Lucy's mom and they could be out and about all at the same time. Basically I think Lucy's mom acted as an Anchor, allowing the Dragons to exist in the world and when she died they were forced back to where ever they live normally. What does this mean for Lucy? She too could be a Dragon Summoner, we have already seen evidence that she is more powerful than other Celestial Spirit Summoners. It also means that the Key for Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy to meet their dragons again is for Lucy to realize her true power and presumably it'll make her a key player in the battle with Zeref



So there are my two theories, what about the rest of you.

Who do you think Lucy's mom was and what secrets does Lucy's heritage hide?

To be honest I don't really think there is a connection between lucy and the dragon slayers, well for one thing they haven't brought it up in either the anime or manga. also what other abilities has she displayed?

Yeah nar...
Lucy's story was pretty much explained in the anime just then. Thats all there is to it.

I think her Mom...i don't know.

Maybe her mom was someone that is a dragon but is able to transform to a human and make babies?

Well that's a good theory but maybe the future Lucy is actually her mother since they look so alike? She may have not died we don't know?
