Bitter Virgin was I thought a really good story, and very tragic.
I am surprised SCHOOL DAYS isnt on here yet...... I first read the manga... then watched the anime and it gave me nightmares for weeks. I am not say it wasn't a good story but as far as Tragedy, I would say its in the top 5 of all
and I have seen the manga but RUMBLING HEARTS is a real tear jerker.... especially if you watch the OVA for what happens to everyone after the series

I can think of a lot of sad series but I don't think anyone said Fist of The North Star yet. So many likable characters die.
