I emailed Sony that it really need a java and a updated flash player for the ps3. They didn't even listen to me. They just said to look on their website for future updates. I also emailed Nintendo to have gameboy games downloaded onto the Nintendo dsi. They didn't even say that they were thinking on it but I doubt that we have gameboy games for the dsi. Wouldn't it be nice if video game companies listened to our ideas to make their company better. I mean come on we support their system and without us. They would be nothing. It would be nice to be recognized.

yeah that is pretty bad, but think of the mail they have to trawl through every day. I mean I look in my inbox (700 mails and growing and about 10 in the junk mail folder T_T )
honestly I think the amount of bad ideas people have... well if the video games companies listened to them the actual playability of the games they made would go down...  |

yeah but the problem is that everyone that wants there idea listened to most likely thinks there idea is great ..revolutionary....but u know it probably isn't...theirs like that 1 out of every 1000 that's good ....but hey i thought my idea was good i told my friend and he said it was complete sh*t...i just thought if u could give pac man laser eyes the game would be better...

Well, I remember I wrote to Working Designs (when they were in business) and I did get replies from them. At one point, Capcom did that as well but as much as WD did. I think it's more about feedback than ideas these days because most companies want to know how they're doing and it's up to us to let them know how they're doing. If I were to email or write to Banpresto or Bandai about SRW, I may or may not get a personal reply but hey, I'm trying.

One advice is that, game studios have no affect on how the flash and java player is on ps3. They only make the games, you have to talk to the big boys who make the consoles so it will be sony, nintendo and microsoft.
However most of the time they are busy with other, but i do admit implementing these updates shouldn't take that long.
SRW won't come outside of japan as well if your gonna email banpresto or bandai due to legal reasons. American company would need to pay licencing for the game plus licencing for the mecha designs. On top of that theres voice acting unless they scrap that and use pure text.

i agree with you i mean if they want to become really sucessful to the gaming industry they should listen to their custmers for innovation if they dont want to listen then well the people who love games will lose interest and not only that the gaming industrial companies will fall and making less or even be bankrupt keep sending the people request until they hear our voice as a gamers society

Video game companies listen enough.
Here's something you must keep in mind though: We as a community of fans and gamers are a BUNCH OF FREAKING IDIOTS.
Most people with "ideas" have no freaking clue what it would require to implement them. They have no idea what the hell they're even talking about most of the time.
Yes, they should listen to criticism, but they should take it all with a grain of salt. Since most of the people making that criticism are retards.
We all think just a little too highly of ourselves.
