Traditional. I have to think about what the word really means in the context before I read it when it is written in simplified. It's a lot more straight forward in traditional.

i prefer traditional. there's a lot more meaning in traditional characters. a good example is the character for love. in simplified it lacks the root word heart, which in my opinion detracts from the original word's elegance and meaning.

It depends on the situation. When I'm doing calligraphy or typing I prefer using traditional Chinese because the characters make more sense and look more elegant. But when I'm taking notes/writing on paper etc I prefer simplified Chinese purely because of convenience.
