Manga w/ Kickass main char

Someone like Hei from darker than black is ideal. FMA is good as well. Liar Game's male protagonist is also very ideal, altho the manga is sorta corny. GANTZ is also acceptable. A darker, more seinen aura is what im looking for, but i will take more lighthearted shounen as well (ex. Fairy Tail). A fanservice heroine is also nice too but usually destroys the effect. I've gone thru all the more renown animes/mangas (D. gray man, F M Panic, Rouron Kenshin, Psyren, Rave Master, Katekyo Hitman, Liar Game, obviously Naruto Bleach One Piece, etc) so try not to name "everyone knows this" animes Thanks for the help guys! After Helping me, lets discuss. Which anime has the most kickass main char? I choose DTB's Hei.
