I don't know why in the hell people are saying Audition is cheesy.... That's insane. That movie was really disturbing and awesome. One of my favorite Japanese horror movies. When I first watched it, I was wondering, "Where's the horror? This is just a dating movie...." Yeah. Then I got towards the end of the movie......... Wow. Just, wow. And yeah, Tokyo Gore Police may have some cheese, but hey, it's still cool. I'm an 80's child. Over the top gore and cheesy plot lines are what I grew up on, so I really like movies of that nature. It makes me sad that the younger generation can't appreciate the novelty value of cheesy horror flicks.

At last crunchyroll post some Japanese things beside the anime...but why horror???  I don't mean to complain, but why not drama,i mean like the funny one and not the scary one... B'coz all the time I watch on Crunchyroll, I saw Crunchyroll only watch all Kdrama and the ONLY Jdrama,or at least what looks like it is either compilation of it, horror dramas, or horror movies... |

This is where I would point out that Horror does not = Drama
It would appear I am not alone in this.
Updates and additions can be good, I don't count this as being good. This is of course just my opinion on this matter.

Audition is an excellent horror movie! It's most likely not the blood that frightens people(there is actually not that much compared to the average American slasher flick); it is the utter corruption of the face of innocence. You leave the movie shaken because you cannot trust your grip of reality. Are you sure others are who they present themselves to be? Are you positive?
