Guess you guys are to young to have learned life lesson #1:

None of those people your with will matter in a few years.

You'll figure that out the second you leave high school, literally the second, you'll say to yourself, "Wtf, why the hell did I care so much, none of it matters now"

IA weeaboo is a person forsaking his own country for Japan, typically Caucasian anime fans that have lost their minds.

I think weeaboos are stupid!! This is the first time that I've heard about this term cause I'm not really into that anime but I'm an anime fan as well as jpop. And I also agree that they are a shame to anime fans. I mean, why would they forsake their own country for Japan just because of anime! They are disgusting!! I hate people with colonial mentality. Can't they be proud of their own nationality?Of their own country? Me, I'm a Filipino and I AM proud of it. I'm not proud of it because of Manny Pacquiao or Charice Pempengco but I'm proud of it because I AM a Filipino, because IT IS ME, THIS IS ME. Some advice for weeaboos: TRY TO EXPLORE YOUR OWN COUNTRY. Surely. there are better things that you could find there than anime.

I watch Anime. So what? I'm not a freakish one like a weeaboo though. Just a normal guy who enjoys a show.

what if someone clearly hates and forsakes his/her own country for being a shit that it is. Is that guy still considered as a weeabo?

Im still not understanding here...

A statement like

"I wish weeaboos didn't exsist"

isnt an argument.

They do not hurt society in any way, they are content and happy to be liked by themselves and those who agree with them and no one else.

I think the issue here is the mirror effect. You see happiness regardless of what others think, and it upsets you because you are unhappy even though you are acting as others tell you to.

Great example, regardless of how much you guys persecute weeaboos they turn a deaf ear to you and live in their happiness with what they love.

So honestly whos the fool? The person happy with who they are, or the person persecuting the person whos happy because they hate who they have become.

I know who you are talking about...

I mean, there is a club at my school for anime-- you watch, draw, and talk about it.. Which might be okay for me if I wasn't labeled the second I walked in there... But some of the people in those clubs aren't overly obsessive about it, so you can't automatically judge people like that.

and yet people still do :/ ...

I'm not an over the top anime freak... I watch it and enjoy it, and if my friends wanted to talk about it I would, but they aren't so we talk about other things.

But hey, if you're an over the top anime freak, good for you. You've got guts that I clearly don't have .

There were no anime freaks at my school, just a bunch of random people who enjoyed watching anime from time to time. There were Magic the Gathering freaks though. They would all hide away in the library and play their card game during every break.
Speaking of anime freaks, just a couple of weeks ago I saw a guy on the street running Naruto ninja style - hands spread out behind his back. It was hilarious

I haven't run into any "anime freaks" but even if I did why should I care what makes them happy?

I don't know. I hate a lot of "otakus." Number one: Half the time they don't know that many shows. Number Two: They act like they know everything about anime. Number three: They act like freaks. I hate people like this. They try to act all cute and hyper. Shudder. I mean, I like anime, and I would consider joining a club, but people just get too carried away. I like people I can talk to about shows, and I like it when people know that there's life before anime, you know what I mean? I don't know, people can just get way too obsessive in my opinion.
