Hi all, just want to leave feedback on this app, it doesn't work on xperia x10 as some other users have stated. The video freezes right at the start, the audio keeps going for a few seconds until the phone completely freezes. I hope you guys can get it to work on the x10.

I installed it a couple of versions back, but it's never worked for me.

I've been using the app on my Motorola Defy running Andrioid 2.2 for a few weeks now and it works pretty well most of the time.

The one thing I find most frustrating is a combination of two factors: first, if I stop watching an episode in the middle, or if the network connection gets cut off (not unusual when doing 3G streaming commuting on the bus) then play it again, it starts me off at the beginning instead of where I left off like the website. Second, seeking in videos is a hit-or-miss operation. I find I have the best luck if I immediately seek to where I was before the moment the video starts; waiting to long tends to make it hang forever, so I have to exit to the episode list and start again. The hanging happens both when using the slider bar or the skip forward/back buttons.

Feature requests:
- Someone mentioned having bookmarks or indications of where you are when watching a series (a simple "watched/unwatched" marker would do).
- Automatically try to reestablish the connection when there's a network issue to continue playing (I think it already may do this under some circumstances).
- Show some sort of visual indicator when the network is lagging. It can be confusing when the video freezes and you're not sure whether it's just a long still shot or there is a network problem.
- Move the navigation bar to the top of the screen, so it doesn't cover up the subtitles if you bump your phone. (This would be less of an issue if the skip back button worked reliably, so I could just skip back a few seconds to see what I missed.)

Show specific issues (maybe):
- I've noticed in the late teen (14-19) episodes of Saki that the video and audio will slowly desync over the course of an episode. It seems to do it pretty consistently. By the end of the episode the video and audio are off by almost a full second. I think I may have seen this happen on other shows as well, so I'm not sure if this is an encoding issue specific to this series or if it is a more general player problem.

Anyway, thanks for making the app available.

Can we download older versions? This last update made it so the ui doesn't rotate. This is horrible as I sit my phone on a cradle at work and watch shows.

Before installing the new version of the CR app, I made sure to clear the data and completely uninstalled the old version before installing the new one on the market. After trying the new version, the wi-fi issue that has been haunting me is still there but with a new twist. After taking the 30 or so seconds in attempting to log on (with wi-fi on), instead of telling me the Invalid Username/Password error as before, the app just downright crashes on me. Tried it on 3G, and it works like a charm. Wi-fi however, is a nightmare. -.-;

After today's update, I get a "Free Trial" and "Sign Up" ad trying to watch Fairy Tail, telling me it's for premium members only. I am a premium member and I'm logged in, and this seems to happen regardless of the fact that I'm logged in already.

If I click the little "log in" link on the bottom of the ad, and log in again, it goes right back to the ad after logging in. I've tried clearing the application data from the Applications Manager and starting over, and it doesn't help.

HTC Evo 4G on Gingerbread.

EDIT: I should have read older messages first - I see a post from BasouKazuma a couple days ago that this is a known issue - the problem is actually the video hasn't been encoded for Android yet (they're usually a few hours late) and the error message is wrong.

I hate the update.

I cannot fast forward or rewind the videos without the video stopping and the app giving me "Sorry, this video cannot be played."

The streaming isn't nearly as good as it was before. Also I have a Droid(version 1) By Motorola, when I slide the screen up the anime listings no longer rotate with the screen so I have to use it closed, which i prefer not to do.

Latest update does not display any episodes. When resuming from a screen timeout the video doesn't recover and the audio becomes stuck so that there are multiple audio streams being played of the video when manually restarted.

Received the latest update here. Although it fixed the crash issue when trying to login in wi-fi mode, it still won't allow me to log in. As of right now, it doesn't even show the "Invalid Username/Password" prompt; rather it just tries to log in for 30 seconds before taking me back to the username menu.

Version 0.3.4 is still available on Amazon's Android Market.

Okay, I have uninstalled the lastest app and it will not load any episode on my samsung fascinate. Also think about putting a way to rate the episode in the app, not that I don't mind rewatching some episodes.

Does the Droid app actually have any anime to play on it at all? Every single show I look up comes up with no episodes listed. It feels more like a wiki app or something than an anime watching app.

I don't want to look 30 minutes through dozens of shows just to see if I can find anything that's actually watchable on it. >.<

Also having problems the last couple of days, apparently after I upgraded from 0.3.8(?) to 0.3.12, when using 3G (on T-Mobile). Same problem as aleon4m: when you go into the menu for a show, it says "Loading. Please Wait. 0% 0/100", then after about 10 seconds it gives up and shows you the show information page with no episodes listed (just the show logo and show summary). I've tried dozens of different shows, with the same results.

If I access the app via Wifi, it works fine - the episodes show up fine, and streaming them works OK too.

EDIT: Downgrading to the version of the app on the Amazon app store (0.3.4) fixes the problem for me - I am able to see all the episodes and stream over 3G.

So android market will only let you download the crappy new version that only works on select phones. Is there a way to download it without clicking the allow installation of apps from outside of market button for droids? I'm afraid my droid will get some kinda virus if I click that x.x
